Illustration is the most important form of the teaching content of morality and rule of law in primary school,and occupies a considerable proportion in textbooks.It is of great significance to make good use of the illustration resources in textbooks.In the fall semester of 2016,the textbook of morality and rule of law compiled by the Ministry began to replace the original textbook of morality and life(Society).The new textbooks compiled by the Ministry has aroused a heated discussion in the whole society,and also brought new challenges to the front-line teachers.How to accurately grasp the new concept and cultural connotation of the textbooks,and give full play to the role of textbook illustrations has become an urgent problem for teachers to solve.The full text is divided into five parts:the first part is the introduction part,mainly discussing the research background,purpose and significance,research status and method in this paper.The second part introduces the definition and importance of textbook illustration,and concludes that textbook illustration has very important value in arousing reading interest,helping to understand the meaning of the text,laying an emotional tone and enriching teaching resources.In the third part,detailed analysis of the illustrations in the textbook.Firstly,statistical analysis was conducted on the quantity distribution and illustration type to verify the importance of illustration,and it was concluded that the changes in the number and type of illustration in different sections were consistent with the rules of children's cognitive development.Then it analyzes the representation and experience of children in textbook illustrations,and draws the conclusion that the textbook illustrations are truly from children's perspective and real life experience to serve children.Then,based on the previous research on textbook illustrations in the urban-rural conflict,gender bias,value orientation and other aspects of the problems of in-depth research,think that the textbook illustration design is more reasonable and comprehensive consideration of differences and other influencing factors,all reflect a clear value orientation.The fourth part introduces the characteristics of the illustrations of the textbooks compiled by the Ministry.The fifth part,on the basis of the previous discussion,puts forward five suggests to help teachers use illustrations efficiently and optimize teaching methods.
