International competition and social development have promoted the reform of physics.The concept of STEM education is consistent with the concept of new physics curriculum reform,and the integration of STEM education concept is the trend of physics teaching reform.The core issue of "how to integrate STEM education into high school physics teaching" is focused in this study,and mainly studied the following three aspects:(1)the construction of high school physics teaching process based on STEM education concept;(2)high school physics teaching case design based on STEM education concept;(3)case practice of high school physics teaching based on STEM education concept.In the course of the research,literature research,case study,investigation and other research methods were adopted.First by combing STEM education related literature,the STEM education's origin,diversified development,concept,connotation,teaching mode and evaluation methods are summarized in this research,and the STEM education and physical education integration research status are reviewed.It finds that STEM education presents the characteristics of integration and interdisciplinary,project-based learning and problem-based learning are two commonly used modes of STEM education,and the evaluation method of STEM education focuses on diversity;Secondly,starting from the characteristics of STEM education and combining with the general laws of high school physics teaching,the principles and processes of high school physics teaching design under the STEM education concept are clarified.Design principles include comprehensive principles,situational principles,developmental principles and practical principles.The design process includes five steps:selecting teaching contents,carrying out teaching analysis,determining teaching objectives,designing teaching process and designing teaching evaluation;Then,according to the established instructional design principles and procedures,STEM educational resources related to high school physics textbooks were mined,and four specific cases were designed,including "making a reaction ruler for measuring reaction time","design and production of vertical accelerometer","using LED display constellation" and "making simple electrostatic precipitator";Finally,the case "design and production of vertical accelerometer" was selected for teaching practice,the practical effect was evaluated by collecting students' self-rating scale and activity record sheet,and conducting interviews with teachers,found that he design of the class example was not only recognized by the students,but also by the teacher.Most of the students thought that this activity helped them to have a deeper understanding of Newton's second law,master the technology of acceleration measurement,and exercise their practical ability.Through the summary of case design research and teaching practice research,the following two conclusions are drawn in this study:first,using engineering design projects or problems to integrate teaching content is an important way to integrate STEM education and high school physics teaching.Second,high school physics teaching based on STEM concept has positive educational value.
