In 2015,the Ministry of Education made it clear that case method teaching is an important way to promote the organic integration of teaching and practice,and an important means to promote the reform of the training mode of professional degree postgraduates.The concept of case method teaching is to take the student as the center,take the case as the basis,create an appropriate engineering scene,and reasonably apply the theory and technology in the textbook to the case,which is conducive to the cultivation of students' engineering ability and the realization of the cultivation goal of professional degree graduate students.In order to ensure the teaching quality and quantify the students' ability in the process of case method teaching,not only complete the construction of the case base,but also provide different learning services for students of different levels,this article takes the case method teaching system based on adaptive learning as the research subject,relying on the course of Advanced Software Engineering,combining the environment of case method teaching,the use of adaptive learning technology to build intelligent teaching environment.Adaptive learning technology is based on the domain model and the student model.The adaptive engine makes personalized learning path for each student,intelligently recommends learning materials and quizzes,and continuously feedback the iterative learning process,so as to achieve the learning goal with the highest efficiency for each student.The key to the adaptive system is to master the students' ability dynamically.The Case Achievement Oriented Ability Point Tracking Model uses neural network to encode students' learning behavior and the dot product of ability index vector and student state vector to predict students' performance.Compared with Bayesian Knowledge Tracing(BKT)and Deep Knowledge Tracing(DKT),the model is more interpretable.The adaptive engine consists of two parts:adaptive content presentation based on students' ability and adaptive navigation support based on learning style.A series of rules are designed to complete the self-adaptation of the system.Based on this,built a system that can meet the teachers and students to conduct case method teaching,including the teacher side of Web based on SpringBoot and the student side based on WeChat Mini Programs.Teachers manage learning resources,input domain models,design curriculum standards in the system.And students learn adaptively in the system.The system gives the evaluation of curriculum and case achievement according to the prescribed standards and student performance.The adaptive model and the teaching system are based on each other.The operation of the model requires the data collected by the system and determines the content of the system push.The system has passed the system test and has been tried out in University of Jinan,and the effect has reached the expectation.
