With the rapid development of global economy,Chinese government makes more and more investments on education and it is urgent to cultivate high-quality talents in education at present.In order to adapt to this new situation,a new round of basic education curriculum reform has been rapidly launched nationwide.In the aspect of teaching resources,the new curriculum reform emphasizes "actively developing and reasonably utilizing all kinds of curriculum resources inside and outside the school",so as to cultivate high-quality talents for the ongoing age.In the process of developing curriculum resource,it should be fully combined with the actual situation of the region to reflect the regional characteristics of curriculum resource development.As a unique and precious resource in China,regional red culture resources have important educational and political significance,and are also rare resources for high school ideological and political courses.The effective application of regional red cultural resources in the teaching of high school ideological and political course is conducive to promoting the formation of correct "Three Outlooks" of high school students,stimulating students' interests in learning high school ideological and political course,helping students develop the ability of integrating theory with practice,and fostering qualified builders and reliable successors of the socialist cause.The Yueyang city of Hunan Province is a red hot spot with glorious revolutionary history.Its political,educational and diverse red cultural resources and its red spirit provide extremely valuable teaching resources for the ideological and political course of Yueyang local high school.Through the research of Yueyang high school,some senior high school teachers actively apply regional red culture resources in the ideological and political teaching at present,which exerts a certain effect.But there are also some problems,such as some students' lack of understanding of regional red cultural resources,the lack of data support in application and the low interest of students.In order to solve these problems,senior high school teachers should flexibly and pertinently apply regional red culture resources to the teaching of ideological and political courses in Senior High School: In accordance with the curriculum standards,teaching design should combine the learning situation of the class and the existing teaching resources of the school and reflect regional red culture resources.Regional red culture resources should be applied to all aspects of the classroom teaching to achieve "the integration of curriculum and activity".the regional red cultural resources can also be applied by building red websites,reading red extracurricular books,watching read movies and organizing red research activities.
