The Ten-year Development Plan of Education Informationization(2011-2020),issued by Ministry of Education in March 2012,has proposed and advocated the brand-new concept of "in-depth combination of information technology and education ",launched an overall design and deployments on the work of education informationization,and further drawn the development blueprint of education informationization and its important position in the progress of education modernization.The episode Conic Curves and Equations is featured by abstract mathematical concepts and complicated geometrical relations,making it difficult for many students to master the relation between numbers and shapes in geometric figures.And this is the reason to advocate on applying information technology aided mathematical teaching.Geometer's Sketchpad,as the teaching aided software with multiple functions,plays a huge role in tonic curve teaching and is widely favored by teachers and students.How to apply Geometer's Sketchpad to upgrade teachers' teaching efficiency and help students understand and master tonic curves is the orientation of this research.This paper integrates theories and practices together to launch an in-depth study on the assistance of Geometer's Sketchpad in conic curve teaching.The research contents are mainly set forth from the following aspects:(1)Based on literature review,this paper summarizes the literature relevant of Geometer's Sketchpad and conic curves,reorganizes the existing literature and academic results to obtain the enlightenments on the study,defines the concept of “conic curves” and “classroom teaching”,and introduces the theories including in-depth combination of information technology and education concept to provide theoretical basis for the research.(2)Based on questionnaire survey,this paper understands the current status and difficulties of students in learning conic curves and analyzes the major factors influencing on their study effect,masters the current application and actual attitude of teachers to Geometer's Sketchpad in aiding conic curve teaching,in order to provide empirical supports for the application of Geometer's Sketchpad in conic curve teaching.(3)Based on practical cases,this paper proposes the classroom teaching strategies and application meaning of Geometer's Sketchpad in aiding conic curve teaching,compares the concrete difference between traditional teaching and Geometer's Sketchpad aided teaching fromthe perspectives of both teachers and students,to highlight the advantages of Geometer's Sketchpad in the classroom teaching of conic curves.(4)Based on the New Curriculum Standards and the mathematics textbook for senior high schools,this paper provides two teaching design plans for Geometer's Sketchpad aided conic curve teaching,to fully demonstrate the “student-oriented” inquiry-based teaching idea and transform the originally obscure knowledge into the one crystal-clear and easy to understand by the dynamic demonstration function of Geometer's Sketchpad.This paper studies from the perspectives of teaching strategy,application meaning and teaching design.It has not only conducted a practical exploration on the in-depth integration of information technology and education concept,but also provided the beneficial complements for the existing theoretical system.Furthermore,it has reconstructed the classroom teaching mode of conic curves,effectively stimulated students leaning interests and aided teachers in increasing the classroom teaching density for a substantial rise of teaching efficiency.
