"Angle" is one of the core concepts of geometry,which plays a very important role in mathematics.In high school mathematics,the"angle" is used in trigonometric function,vector,analytic geometry,solid geometry and other aspects,which occupies a considerable component in college entrance examination.In the process of primary mathematics learning,every broadening of the "angle" is of great significance,and at the same time,it increases the difficulty of students'learning.So,how do students understand the "angle" after primary school,junior high school to senior high school learning?This research is based on SOLO Taxonomy proposed by Biggs.In the research,first of all,we do a lot of research before understanding SOLO Taxonomy,the concept of learning and understanding "angle",the requirements of curriculum standards for teaching,the arrangement of relevant teaching contents and the teaching research of "angle".Then,learning from the opinions of experts and scholars,and according to SOLO Taxonomy,we divide students into different thinking structure levels to prepare the test paper about understanding level on the "angle" and launch the test investigation for the high school students.Then,using SPSS data software to analyze the level of understanding and gender differences,and have a further interview on students and teachers according to the test results.Finally,some suggestions are put forward for the teaching of diagonal concept.Through the research,we can draw the conclusion that senior high school(senior three)students'present situation of understanding the concept of "angle":(1)High school students have a complete grasp of the concept of primary school stage's"angle",but for the concept of junior high school stage "angle" and other related knowledge,some students forget quickly because of their unclear grasp of the nature of the concept,and some students'understanding level of the concept of "angle" before high school is at the level of unistructural or even at the level of prestructural.(2)When it comes to understanding of the concept of "angle" in high school stage,such as "arbitrary angle","tilt angle",etc.,still about 20%of high school students are in unistructural level;Only about 50%of them are at the level of relational about the mastery of"space angle";The number of students at the level of extended abstract is too small.Students are lack of understanding of the relevance between concepts.Most of the time,they only pay attention to solving problems,but ignore the essence of the concept of the "angle",so their ability to expand knowledge is weak(3)There was no significant difference between boys and girls in understanding the concept of "angle".To some extent,the difficulty of test questions affects students'understanding of the concept of "angle".Some suggestions on the teaching of "angle" are as follows:teachers should pay attention to the explanation of basic concepts and the relevance of knowledge;make targeted guidance strategies for students of different levels;when the meaning of "angle" is broadened,students should actively reflect and contrast the concept knowledge they have learned;for abstract contents such as "rotation angle","arbitrary angle","radian system of angle",etc.,we should grasp the essence,learn to understand and overcome the fear of difficulties.
