Research On Colleges And Universities' Response To The Infiltration Of Western Cultural Hegemony

Nowadays,with the deepening of economic globalization and the popularization and development of network information technology,the countries all around the world are increasingly contacted and connected with each other.Although the exchange and integration of ideology and cultures among different counties and nations have become a trend,conflicts and confrontations have also followed.The western developed capitalist countries,led by the United States,with their economic and political advantages,not only promote cultural hegemony globally,but also export and infiltrate the culture of other countries on a large scale,so as to build a hegemonic system and finally achieve their own political goals.Faced with the increasing penetration of cultural hegemony in China,China's colleges and universities are extremely easily to be harmed by the invasion and penetration of western culture.In order to protect the national and cultural security of our country,our colleges and universities must figure out practical ways to continuously resist cultural hegemonism and infiltration.Only in this way can the teachers and students in colleges and universities be continuously enhanced to resist the infiltration of western cultural hegemony.This paper is divided into five parts.The first part is an introduction,including the content and value of the selected topic,the research status of the topic and related research methods.The second part is the elaboration of the concepts related to the infiltration of Western cultural hegemony and the generation mechanism of cultural hegemony.While analyzing the meaning of culture,cultural hegemonism,and cultural infiltration,it also analyzes thehistorical and practical causes of cultural hegemony's generation mechanism.In the third part,this research analyzes the purpose,means and concrete manifestation of cultural hegemony infiltration,and discusses its specific purpose and common means from three aspects: information technology and multinational companies,cultural products,and cultural exchanges.The fourth part is to explain the harm and adverse effects caused by the infiltration of cultural hegemony to some college and university students in China,and at the same time analyzes and explores the deeper reasons.In the fifth part,the author explores the concrete ways that colleges and universities should take to deal with the infiltration of western cultural hegemony from three aspects:strengthening ideological education,cultivating and promoting undergraduates' cultural confidence,and strengthening their own ideological construction,and according to what mentioned above,the feasible countermeasures are obtained.
