Objective:the static balance and dynamic balance of functional ankle instability were intervened by different ways of Respiration-regulating and tested for their ability to balance,To study the difference of balance ability between functional ankle instability before and after different ways of Respiration-regulating,to explores the effects of different ways of Respiration-regulating on the static balance and dynamic balance of functional ankle instability and to prevent ankle joints from being injury, and to provide a theoretical basis for prevention of ankle joint injury and Rehabilitation.methods:Twenty male FAI subjects were selected according to the Ankle Joint Functional Assessment Tool(AJFAT)questionnaire, and intervened in different Respiration-regulating ways to test the changes of the balance ability after two Respiration-regulating ways. The two Respiration-regulating ways were(1)in deep breathing, the subject perform 45 deep breaths according to their breathing rhythm. In this process, pay attention to stay still and do not perform any auxiliary movements.(2)inner-power and One-finger Zen meditation, requiring the subject to perform 45 times Respiration-regulating ways of the inner-power and One-finger Zen with the accompaniment of music, however natural breathing state as a control. In the experiment, the method of Respiration-regulating ways was carried out in random order. After the balance test was completed of one of the regulating ways, the subject was fully rested and then the next kind of intervention was performed. In this study,The TecnoBody dynamic and static balance tester and the Y Balance dynamic balance tester were used to collect the static balance and dynamic balance data before and after the experiment,The data of all collected static balance and dynamic balance ability were compared before and after different methods of Respiration-regulating.Two-factor repeated measurements were used to measure variance analysis.Results:(1)In the opened eye state, the difference between the healthy and affected of the moving ellipse area was statistically significant(P<0.05),and the mean value of each index of the healthy limbs was smaller than that of the affected limbs(P<0.05).P<0.05);the average longitudinal velocity of motion in the front and rear direction, the average longitudinal velocity of motion in the left and right direction, the elliptical area of motion, and the length of motion of functional ankle instability were statistically significant among different Respiration-regulating methods(P<0.05),and after two different respiratory interventions, the mean value of each index was smaller than before the experiment;the interaction between the side and the different Respiration-regulating methods of the average longitudinal velocity of motion in the left and right direction had statistical significance(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in other indexes between different Respiration-regulating methods(P>0.05).(2)In the closed eye state, the difference between the moving ellipse area and the length of exercise was statistically significant. The mean value of each index of the lateral limbs was smaller than that of the affected limbs(P<0.05);the average longitudinal velocity of motion in the front and rear direction, the average longitudinal velocity of motion in the left and right direction, the elliptical area of motion, and the length of motion of functional ankle instability were statistically significant among different Respiration-regulating methods(P<0.05),and after two different respiratory interventions, the mean of each index was smaller than before the experiment; There was no significant difference in the every indicators between the different Respiration-regulating methods(P>0.05).(3)In the Y-balance test,The difference between the healthy and the affected side in the posterior and posterior directions was statistically significant, and the mean value of each index of the healthy limbs was greater than that of the affected limbs(P<0.05);The difference between the different methods of Respiration-regulating of functional ankle instability was statistically significant(P<0.05),and after two different respiratory interventions, the mean value of each index was greater than before the experiment, and the intervention effect of inner-power and One-finger Zen was better than the deep breathing group, there was no significant difference in the other groups(P>0.05).The interaction between the side and the different methods of Respiration-regulating was not statistically significant in the anterior, posterior, and posterior directions(P>0.05).(4)In the opened and closed eyes, the symmetry index of the functional ankle instability between the healthy and affected of the moving ellipse area and the length of exercise decreased compared with the experiment.Conclusions:(1)the static balance ability of functional ankle instability can be improved effectively by the deep breathing and the inner-power and One-finer Zen,while the intervention method of inner-power and One-finger Zen is slightly better than deep breathing;(2)the dynamic balance ability of functional ankle instability can be improved effectively by the deep breathing and the inner-power and One-finer Zen,while the intervention method of inner-power and One-finger Zen is slightly better;(3)the symmetry of the unstable and the stable side can be promoted by the deep breathing and the inner-power and One-finer Zen,while the intervention method of the inner-power and One-finger Zen is slightly better.
