Abstract/Summary:
Purposes: This study mainly focused on the static and dynamic balance ability of unilateral functional ankle instability and normal subjects before and after fatigue, and studied the difference in balance between the two groups of subjects in different states and directions. To explore the influence of fatigue factors on the static and dynamic balance ability of the two groups of subjects, and to analyze the causes of repeated injuries of unstable functional ankle joints, and to provide theoretical and experimental evidence for the prevention of ankle injury and rehabilitation after injury. Methods: 12 male FAI subjects were selected as the experimental group according to the Ankle Joint Functional Assessment Tool(AJFAT)questionnaire and the drawer test, according to the age, height, weight, and morphology of the lower extremities of the experimental group.Parameters and other characteristics 12 males without ankle injury were selected as the control group. The static balance ability of the subject before and after fatigue was measured on a WIN-POD static balance tester. The dynamic balance before and after fatigue is completed on the YBT(Y-Balance Test)dynamic test system. The fatigue intervention during the test was achieved using CON-TREX isokinetic strength testing and training system using an isokinetic concentric/concentric pattern of 180°/s isokinetic Eversion and inversion contraction.fatigue.When the subject did varus-external valgus alternately contracted until exhaustion,ie when the ankle joint was unable to initiate the next contraction,it was determined to have reached a state of fatigue.Differences in the collected static and dynamic balance data before and after different groups and fatigue were compared using two-factor repeated measurement analysis of variance. Results :(1)In the open eye group, the total trajectory of the Length and the Area, the Avg.v were significantly different before and after fatigue(P<0.05).The Area had very significant difference before and after fatigue(P<0.01).The Area of the contralateral side and the affected side and the average swing of the Y axis were statistically significant in the comparison between the groups(P<0.05).(2)In the closed eyes of the experimental group, all test indexes of the contralateral and affected sides were statistically significant(P<0.05).And the Length, the Area, the y-axis shake speed, the average X-axis swing, and the y-axis average swing have significant differences before and after fatigue(P<0.01);The enveloping area of the contralateral side and the affected side, the average shaking speed, and the Y-axis shaking speed were statistically significant between the groups(P<0.05).(3)In the experimental group, the affected side of the experimental group and the control group corresponded to the balance speed of the lateral foot in the blinking situation, and the X-axis average swing had significant difference before and after fatigue(P<0.05).The total trajectory of the pressure center shakes is long, and the envelope area index has a very significant difference before and after fatigue(P<0.01).(4)In the experimental group, the affected side of the experimental group and the control group had a long total trajectory of the center of pressure fluctuations in the closed eyes, and the average velocities of the lateral pediculated feet were significantly different from those before and after fatigue(P<0.05).The envelope area,X-axis shake speed,X-axis average swing, and Y-axis average swing have significant differences before and after fatigue(P<0.01).The total trajectory of the shaking center of the affected side and the corresponding side, the envelope area, and the y-axis shaking speed were significantly different in the comparison between groups(P<0.05).(5)In the comparison of the dynamic balance between the healthy and affected sides of the experimental group, the dynamic balance between the healthy and affected sides showed significant differences before and after fatigue(P<0.01).There was also a significant difference in the dynamic balance between the contralateral and affected sides in the comparison between the groups(P<0.01).(6)In the comparison of the dynamic balance between the affected side of the FAI group and the control group, there was a significant difference in the dynamic balance between the affected side and the corresponding side in the pre-fatigue comparison(P<0.01).However,there was a significant difference in the balance ability between the two groups in the forward and posterior directions before and after fatigue(P<0.05),and there was no significant difference in the posterolateral direction(P>0.05).Conclusion:(1)Unilateral functional ankle instability demonstrated significant differences in static and dynamic balance before and after fatigue compared with those without ankle joints. It shows that the lack of balance ability is an important cause of functional ankle instability.(2)Regardless of the FAI group or the control group, fatigue has a great influence on the static and dynamic balance of the two groups of subjects. In particular, the impact of the FAI group on ipsilateral balance was very significant. It can be said that fatigue is an important factor that causes functional instability and easy repeated injury.
