Objective:To study the intervention effect of Progressive Hop-to-Stabilization Balance on static and dynamic balance and gait characteristics of functional ankle instability patients, and to provide basic theoretical and experimental basis for ankle sprain treatment and ankle rehabilitation training plan. Methods:According to the preset classification standard[135],12 individuals with problems in the right part are mainly used as the experimental group, and then the corresponding healthy individuals are matched in combination with the characteristics of all aspects of the group, and they are used as the control group. All subjects underwent Progressive Hop-to-Stabilization Balance 5 times a week for 6 weeks, and the static and dynamic Balance ability was assessed by Tecnobody Balance tester and Y-Balance dynamic balance tester before and after the intervention. The Zebris plantar pressure treadmill was used to measure the plantar pressure distribution during standing and the dynamic pressure distribution during natural walking.Repeated-measure ANOVA was used to compare the balance ability and gait characteristics between functional ankle instability group and control group, and the balance ability and gait characteristics of functional ankle instability group before and after 6-week progressive jump stability training. The test level α=0.05.Results:1.Static balance ability:When human eyes are opened, the difference of core indexes in FAI group has important research and reference significance(P<0.05);The differences in many aspects such as the standard deviation of the anterior and posterior directions between the two groups have important reference significance(P<0.05);There were statistically significant differences in exercise length under the interaction effect of group and intervention(P<0.05).Simple effect analysis showed that there were statistically significant differences in exercise length after PHSB intervention in FAI group(P<0.05).When the eyes were closed, the difference of the standard deviation of the anterior and posterior directions among the groups had important reference significance(P<0.05);In addition, after the standardized PHSB intervention, the difference of static balance ability has important research and reference significance(P<0.05);The difference between the two groups of subjects’ average left and right movement speed after intervention has important research and reference significance(P<0.05),Simple effect analysis showed that there were statistically significant differences in the left and right movement velocity between the FAI group under the intervention of PHSB(P<0.05).2.Dynamic balance ability:after PHSB intervention in FAI group and control group, the results of the affected side and the corresponding side in the y-shape balance test in three directions were statistically significant compared with those before intervention(P<0.05).3.Gait characteristics:The differences of step length, step speed and other indexes between groups have important research and reference significance(P<0.05),indicating that the affected side step length, step speed and stride length were smaller than the healthy control group. There were statistically significant differences in step length, step speed and stride length of FAI group and control group before and after PHSB intervention(P<0.05).There was no statistical significance in plantar pressure and phase characteristics before and after group and PHSB intervention(P>0.05).Conclusions:(1)Before the PHSB intervention, the static and dynamic balance ability of the affected side of functional ankle instability was weaker than that of healthy subjects. After 6 weeks of PHSB intervention, the balance ability of functional ankle instability and healthy group was improved, and the intervention effect was more obvious for functional ankle instability group;(2)When walking at normal speed, the stride characteristics of functional ankle instability were significantly different from those of healthy people;(3)After 6 weeks of PHSB intervention, affected step length, stride length, and step speed were improved in patients with functional ankle instability.
