In this paper,taking the junior middle school art education in urban and rural areas of Tongliao as an example,the current situation of junior middle school art education in urban and rural areas is studied.Four representative junior middle school schools are selected in each area.Through the investigation and analysis of eight schools,the problems in the art education in rural and urban areas are found,so that more people realize the importance of art education.Necessity and necessity,and put forward corresponding solutions,so that the development of art education in the two regions tends to balance,so that more students receive good art education.In the study,eight middle schools in Tongliao No.2 Middle School,No.4 Middle School,No.7 Middle School,Horqin Mongolian Middle School,Qianjiadian Experimental Middle School,Baxianchang Town Middle School,Jieji Town Middle School,Kezuo Houqi Ihuta Middle School(Mongolian School)were selected as the research objects,and the literature analysis method,survey statistics method,field investigation method,questionnaire survey method were used.The research methods of interview method and comparative research method are investigated to analyze the current situation of art education in urban and rural areas,and to study the causes of such problems and the solutions.This article is divided into three chapters,the introduction introduces the research background,purpose,significance and research methods of this study.Chapter 1 introduces the basic situation of the research objects,that is,eight schools,as well as the analysis of the research results obtained through questionnaires,interviews and other methods,and finds that there are indeed differences in the middle school art education between the two regions.Chapter 2 analyses the problems in the art education in the two regions,such as the problems that the schools in cities are greatly affected by the "exam-oriented education".The extracurricular art education activities between schools are prints,too similar to the lack of characteristics,and objectively analyses the advantages and disadvantages of the two regions in the art education.The third chapter is mainly to solve the problems of each region,and put forward suggestions to solve the problems that can make the art education in the two regions tend to balance,such as making up for the disadvantages through the development of school-based courses,improving and optimizing the rural art education resources better,and encouraging teachers and students to invest in the art creation research through the incentive mechanism.Before many solutions are taken,relevant education departments,schools,teachers,parents and students themselves should improve their understanding and importance of art education,which requires the joint efforts of the whole society.
