In 2019,the "Notice on the Pilot Work of Kindergarten with Characteristic Football" was issued by the General Office of the Ministry of Education,which marks the official launch of children's football.In August of the same year,the first batch of 3570 national football kindergartens were announced,and it was planned to increase to 6000 in 2020.However,the rapid development of preschool football will face a variety of challenges.The lack of teachers is one of the challenges that needs to be resolved.At present,there are two main ways to solve this issue: give preschool teachers comprehensive trainings and hire football teachers from internal to external.As the main guider and the direct participant of preschool football,the quality of teachers of preschool football is related to the realization of the value of preschool football education,and its quantity also determines the solid foundation of the development of preschool football.Therefore,whether the competency level of preschool football teachers meets the requirements of football education for children is an important practical issue that everyone should pay attention to.Preschool football in Henan province has been developed for 4 years.Teachers of preschool football have certain exploration experience in the development of infant football activities.Therefore,the research on the competency of infant football teachers can provide experience for the exploration of the competency of infant football teachers.From the perspective of human resources,the competency of a teacher has a profound impact on his performance level.In this study,the literature method,behavioral event interview method,expert survey method and mathematical statistics method are used to study the competency of teachers of preschool football,and the construction of the index model is completed,which is hoped for making a promotion of the development of teachers of preschool football.The main research contents are as follows:First of all,a comprehensive analysis of the occupational characteristics of children's football teachers is done according to the objectives of children's football activities,the physical and mental characteristics of 3-6 years old children,and the requirements of preschool teachers.Then the existing research results is combined with the behavioral event interview method to obtain the initial indicators of the competency of preschool football teachers.At last,28 competency indexes are obtained and explained in this study.Then,the "Questionnaire for the Importance of Competency Indexes of Teachers of Preschool Football " is produced and distributed to experts in the field of campus football.According to the results of the questionnaire,these experts agree that the most important 25 competency indexes need to be obtained;The retained indexes are specifically processed to prepare for the ‘Self-assessment Prediction and Questionnaire for the Competency Behaviors of Teachers of Preschool Football',which was distributed to the front line teachers of preschool football.The data is processed through SPSS,and the topics are screened based on the relationship between each topic and the total score of the topics.Then,the high-performance group and the general performance group are made a difference comparison.There are 24 topics has significant differences,covering 13 competency indexes.After the exploratory factor analysis,24 topics with significant differences are processed to establish a model of competency index for teachers of preschool football,and the AMOS is also used to verify the model by confirmatory factor analysis.Finally,the second sample of the "Formal Questionnaire for Self-assessment of Competency of Teachers of Preschool Football" is tested for empirical validity to determine the rationality and effectiveness of the index model.The conclusion of the study is as follows:1.In the collection and extraction of the initial indexes of competency,a total of 28 competency indexes are obtained and explained,which lay the foundation for the next step of research.2.After two rounds of screening,there are 25 competency indexes' score above 4.0 and their coefficients of variation are less than 0.25.So they are all retained and compiled into a self-assessment prediction questionnaire for preschool football teachers' competency behavior.This questionnaire covers 43 topics,which can reflect the competency level of teachers of preschool football,and can also provide measurement tools for further research.3.Among the 25 competency indexes,high-performance and low-performance preschool football teachers have significant differences in 13 competency indexes.So these 13 competency indexes are preliminarily formulated as the constituent factors of the preschool football teachers' competency index model.4.The results of exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis show that the competency index model of preschool football teachers includes 13 competency indexes characteristics in 5 aspects.The dimension of personal traits includes creativity,responsibility,and environmental adaptation;the dimension of cognitive ability covers analytical thinking,self-assessment and professional knowledge;the dimension of management and development includes organizational management,observation and students training;the dimension of relationship establishment and influence contains interpersonal communication and influence;the dimension of achievement and action involves achievement orientation and information collection.Next,the second sample is selected to conduct an empirical validity test on the competency index model of teachers of preschool football to prove this index model is effective.
