| In 2014,the ministry of education implements the fundamental task of cultivating people with morality,requiring the development of a core competencies system for students,and the implementation of the core competencies into the subject teaching.The general high school geography curriculum standard(2017 edition)defines the core competencies of geography and penetrates it into all parts of the curriculum standard.In order to better implement the core competencies of geography,the new edition of geography textbooks have been revised and put into use in the new semester in September 2019.Geography textbook is an important tool for teachers to cultivate students' core competencies of geography.Activity column,as an important part of textbook,plays an important role in cultivating geographical core competencies.This paper selects the first and second volumes of compulsory high school geography textbooks of People's Education Press,which have been put into use in September 2019,as the research object,and conducts a research on the design of the activity columns of the two volumes of textbooks based on the geographical core competencies elements and their levels.By using the method of expert consultation and literature analysis to interpret the geographical core competencies elements and their levels to ensure the scientific basis of analysis;then the activity columns in the two textbooks are analyzed based on the four geographical core competencies elements and their levels through factor analysis;statistical induction is used to analyze the data,the design characteristics of the activity columns of the two textbooks are summarized,and the corresponding optimization strategies are put forward.By analyzing the data summarize out two volumes of the activities of the of geography textbook design features as follows:(1)the geographical core competencies activities section elements proportion between textbooks there are differences,(2)a greater difference between the proportion of geographical core competencies section elements in activities(3)the geographical core competencies elements constitute a variety of categories in the activity column(4)activities in a horizontal level layer(5)the geographical core competencies elements focus on level 1 and 2 in the activitie column.In view of the deficiencies in the design of activity columns,this paper puts forward the optimization strategy of increasing the proportion of activity columns of geographical practice,people and land coordination,increasing the proportion of activity columns of factor level 3 and 4 appropriately,and focusing on the cultivation of different geographical core competencies elements in the activity columns of two textbooks. |
