The Intervention And Reflection Of The Structural Family Therapy On The Adjustment Of The Family Relationship Of The Flow Elderly With Grandchildren

With the aging of the population,the development of urbanization and the increase of the number of one-child families,the mobility trend and scale of the elderly population are also expanding.Correspondingly,the number of young people who develop and settle down in other places is also greatly increased.Their parents will follow their children to strange cities to help take care of their grandchildren.Previous studies mainly focused on the social adaptation of the floating elderly and the characteristics and influence of the elderly with grandchildren,but few studies on the adjustment of family relations of the floating elderly with grandchildren.In this study,questionnaire survey,observation method and interview method were used to reveal the current situation of the adjustment of the family relationship between the street residents with elderly grandchildren.According to the research results,the adjustment of family relationship of elderly people with grandchildren is mainly reflected in the following three aspects: the old people are under great pressure to take care of their grandchildren,there are many conflicts between generations,and the relationship between family members is alienated.And the reasons for the adjustment of family relationship mainly include five aspects: the focus of the family changes from the old to the children,the lack of interaction and communication between family members,the inadequate preparation for the two generations to live together,the lag in the role transformation of family members,and the intervention of the third-party adjustment mechanism.This study take grandmother X and her family in a certain community of T street in Wuhan city as the case study object,from the perspective of family social work for the family relationship adjustment present situation and the cause of the problem are analyzed,and through a structured family therapy intervention,families with their family members found that family problems,clear each other's boundaries,refactoring family rules,adjusting the structure of the poor family,and then improve the interactive communication between family members,increase exchanges,to promote normal family function,effectively relieve X grandma adjustment problems of family relations,and the heavy pressure that grandma X encountered in taking care of her grandchildren can also be alleviated.According to the process effect evaluation and summary effect evaluation,it is proved that the structural family therapy is effective in alleviating the adjustment problem of the family relationship of the elderly with grandchildren.This study is also conducive to solving the problems found,promoting the family and society to pay attention to the elderly,especially the mobile elderly with grandchildren,so that they can obtain a quality and fulfilling life in old age.At the same time,it is also conducive to the overall development of family social work.
