Intermediary Role Of Academic Self-concept:The Relationship Between High School Students' School Connectedness And Learning Immersion Experience

Objective: 1.To investigate the current situation of school connectedness,learning immersion experience,academic self-concept in high school students.2.To analyze the relationship betweem school connectedness,academic self-concept,learning immersion experience,and explore that whether academic self-concept exist the mediating effect between the school connectedness and learning immersion experience,the present study hopes to enrich and develop the theory of academic self-concept,and provide the references and gist for the cultivation and development of high school students,tendency of learning immersion experience and the high school career development education.Methods: First,convenience sampling was adopt to extract 2677 high school students who came from a secondary school in Shen Zhen as the subjects from December 2017 to February 2018.Then,a questionnaire survey was conducted with School Connectivity Scale,Adolescent Learning Immersion Experience Questionnaire and Adolescent General Academic Self-Scale.Fanally,the Sp SS22.0 was used to analyze data and construct the mediating model.Result: First,high school students' school connectedness as a whole in the middle level(M>3).In terms of gender,boys have a higher level of school connection than girls.In terms of class cadre,class cadre students have a higher level of school connection than nonclass cadre students who are not class cadres.In grade level,the level of school connection of the students in grade 1 is significantly higher than that of the students in grade 2 and grade 3.Second,high school students' learning immersion experience in the middle above the overall level(M>2.5).In terms of gender,boys have a higher level of learning immersion experience than girls.In terms of class cadres or not,class cadres students have a higher level of learning immersion experience than non-class cadre students.In grade level,senior 1 students have a higher level of learning immersion experience than senior 2 students and senior 3 students.Thirdly,high school students' academic self-concept as a whole in the middle level(M>3).In terms of gender,boys' academic self-concept level is significantly higher than girls'.On whether or not they are only children,the academic self-concept level of non-only child students is significantly higher than that of only child students.The level of academic self-concept of class cadres students is significantly higher than that of non-class cadre students.In grade,the level of academic self-concept of senior 1 students is significantly higher than that of senior 2 students and senior 3 students.Fourth,there is a significant positive correlation between high school connection and academic self-concept and its dimensions.There is a significant positive correlation between high school connection and learning immersion experience and its dimensions.There is a significant positive correlation between academic self-concept and its dimensions and learning immersion experience and its dimensions.Fifth,high school students' school connectedness can positively predict academic selfconcept and learning immersive experience.Academic self-concept,perception of academic ability,self-control of academic behavior and academic pleasure experience could positively predict learning immersion experience.Academic achievement experience had a significant negative predictive effect on learning immersion experience.Sixth,academic self-concept plays a partial mediating role between high school students' school connectedness and learning flow experience.Coculusion: First,high school students' school connectedness as a whole in the middle level.At the level of school connection,boys are higher than girls,class cadres are higher than non-class cadres,and the grade of senior 1 is higher than the grade of senior 2 and 3.Second,high school students' learning immersion experience in the middle above the overall level.At the level of learning immersion experience,boys are higher than girls,class cadres are higher than non-class cadres,and the grade of senior 1 is higher than the grade of senior 2 and 3.Thirdly,high school students' academic self-concept as a whole in the middle level.In terms of academic self-concept,boys are higher than girls,non-only-child students are higher than only-child students,class cadre students are higher than non-class cadre students,and grade one is higher than grade two and grade three.Fourth,school connection and academic self-concept can positively predict learning immersion experience.The higher the level of school connection and academic self-concept,the higher the learning immersion experience.Fifth,school connection can directly affect learning immersion experience,and it can also indirectly affect learning immersion experience through academic self-concept.
