Chinese character and Chinese language are the carriers of Chinese national culture.Their cultural lifeline and spiritual connotation all originate from the long cultural river of the Chinese nation.The transmission and development of Chinese culture mainly depends on the carrier of Chinese characters and Chinese.To transmit and develop Chinese culture,we must master Chinese well and learn Chinese well.Liu Xie said in Wen Xin Diao Long: "Madame's statement is made up of words,sentences and chapters." The basic role of literacy is obvious.Literacy is the basis of Chinese teaching in primary school.It is the primary learning task faced by junior children in Chinese class.It is also the fine tradition of Chinese language teaching.By using the methods of documentation,questionnaire and interview,this paper investigates the literacy of low-level primary school students from the aspects of sound,form and meaning of Chinese characters,and finds out the following problems in literacy of low-level students.In phonetic aspect: inaccurate recognition,improper memory and poor dictation;in glyph aspect: vague structure,mechanical use of strokes,unclear rules of stroke order;in word meaning aspect: unclear understanding of word meaning,inappropriate mastery of method and weak ability of word formation.At the same time,combining with children's psychology and the characteristics of Chinese characters,the following strategies are put forward: learning literacy according to the characteristics of the unification of pronunciation,form and meaning of Chinese characters;overcoming the difficulties of literacy one by one according to the rules of Chinese characters' construction;carrying out literacy teaching step by step according to the law of students' cognitive development;changing teachers' concepts and constantly improving their own literacy;and finally,putting forward the following strategies: from school to school Starting from two aspects of family,we should create a good literacy environment for students.The author hopes that the research in this paper can arouse the attention of teachers and parents on the problems of students' literacy learning,provide relevant reference for the low-level language teachers in primary schools to carry out literacy teaching,provide help for the low-level students to better grasp the knowledge of Chinese characters and understand the culture of Chinese characters,and also contribute their modest efforts to improve the quality of the whole literacy teaching.
