Study Of "Lazy Man's Pack" As A Public Opinion Form In Rebellion Politics During Taiwan Curriculum Fine-tuning Event And Sunflower Movement

The form of public opinion as the form of topic ex:pression under certain conditions,involving the generation and dissemination of the topic,is the important object of the public opinion research.It is also an important carrier influencing the public opinion world and even the real world.Taiwan's forms of public opinion are rich and varied.Since the emergence of mass media,editorials,political advertisements and TV talk shows have been the mainstream forms of public opinion.In the new media era,"Lazy Man's Pack" has become a new form of public opinion in Taiwan.This paper takes the Taiwan Senior High School Curriculum Fine-tuning Event and Sunflower Movement in 2013-2015 as the background,and takes the related " Lazy Man's Pack " spread on the Internet during this period as the research object.Using the contentious politics theory,this paper uses content analysis and text analysis methods to study the application of "Lazy Man's Pack",then summarizes its characteristics as a new form of public opinion,and reveals the role of "Lazy Man's Pack" in the "curriculum fine-tuning" event.The findings include three levels.On the first level,Through content analysis,it is found that the " Lazy Man's Pack " has the characteristics of selective presentation and shielding of information in content,and in form it presents the characteristics of complex production and diverse types.On the second level,as a new form of public opinion,the " Lazy Man's Pack" is characterized by entertainment,dyeing and exclusiveness,depriving audiences of the identification,reflection and criticism of information,thus forming a mode of transmission of the rethinking examination.Thirdly,considering the function of " Lazy Man's Pack in the field of contentious politics,this paper finds that the function of "Lazy Man's Pack " is tc construct a new type of pseudo-environment and becoming a new play.Specifically,it constructs a new pseudo-environment of polarization,hatred and urgency through simplification,lightening and laziness.It expresses extreme attitudes,shapes enemies,creates hatred,demonizes objective things,actively carries out emotional mobilization,expecting to gather forces to change the real world,and clearly reflecting the characteristics of shielding,deconstruction and banter.The findings of this study increase our understanding of the characteristics and roles of the new form of public opinion of "Lazy Man's Pack " in the contentious politics,and also provide some new ideas for the study of the contentious politics under the new media environment,enriching the public opinion research in Taiwan.
