Research On Innovation Of Ideological And Political Education Methods For College Students In The New Era

The method of ideological and political education for college students refers to sum of all means and methods adopted by the main body of ideological and political education in the process of educating college students in order to achieve the goal and impart the content of Ideological and Political Education.Its fundamental purposes are to cultivate comprehensive talents with high ideological level,high political consciousness and high moral quality for the country and society,and to help college students foster morally sound values and outlook on the world and life In the development of higher education,its role is self-evident.However,with the deepening of reform and opening-up,the rapid development of the times and society and the influx of multiple ideological trends,all kinds of changes have taken place in the ideological concepts,behavioral patterns and value choice of college students.This objectively requires the ideological and political educating methods to be innovate and creative,and education subjects to use these new methods to fundamentally solve problems encountered by college students.On the other hand,there are many problems in the current ideological and political educating methods,such as the weakened attractions,the errors in application of implicit method,the unsolved combination of traditional and modern methods,the not unsmooth law system of family-school-social cooperative education,and the underdeveloped role of practical exercise method,which made it very difficult to play its due role in practical education and teaching.From another point of view,this important factor requires the subjects of education to improve and innovate the methods of ideological and political education for college students,in accordance with the actual situation of students and the principle of development of education and teaching.Guided by Xi Jinping's thought on Socialism with Chinese characteristics in the New Era,this paper holds the pulse of the times,follows the pace of the times,combines the actual situation of the changes in college students' thinking and behavior,follows the methods of ideological and political education,and meets the essential requirements of the development times.Aiming to solve the problems of ideological and political education for college students,various relevant materials are consulted,sorted out,summarized and classified.The author thinks the ideological and political educating methods can be improved and innovated through six basic ways:strengthening the attraction of ideological and political theory courses;making efforts to create a harmonious cultural atmosphere;using multimedia to open up a new front;paying attention to family and social school cooperation;paying attention to the effective use of the practice of exercise method.These six basic approaches can not only make up for the shortcomings of the current methods of ideological and political education for college students,but also be of great benefit to the construction of the methodology system.Moreover,the process of this research is based on current situations and historical orientation of our country,and its significance is not only limited to the ideological and political education theory,but also to the deep understanding and full grasp of Xi Jinping's Socialism with Chinese Characteristics in the New Era,which is conducive to the cultivation of high-quality talents of morality,intelligence,physical fitness and labor for the country and society.
