A Case Study Of Social Work On Domestic Violence Among Migrant Women

According to the third survey on the social status of Chinese women,24.7% of the women had been abused and beaten by their spouses during their marriage.Based on the attention to the migrant women groups and marital violence in the urban gap,this paper makes a case study on the migrant women affected by marital violence with the theory of empowerment.The study finds that the subject not only faces the power environment of "no power",but also has the power obstacle of economic dependence,backward gender concept and single and deficient social intercourse.To this,the author and director jointly develop domestic abuse related to learn the knowledge,learn to take care of self,shape a new gender concepts,enhance the level of self-confidence and self-esteem,learning parent-child interactive communication skills and social in six aspects of the target and put them into practice.In the end,the director of the skills and knowledge power consciousness and self-efficacy,ideas are improved,no feeling and alleviated the extent of the damage from domestic violence.In addition,this paper puts forward a social worker in the intervention of marital violence,violence against women always focus on the question of ethical values and learn to work in a timely manner to eliminate intense sentiment,release pressure of the discussion,and rich team work in marital violence violence against women in social work practice,to promote women's shelter,for the violence against women build reality platform support group.
