Visually impaired persons lack the ability to live independently because of visual and psychological barriers,which makes it difficult for them to integrate into society.The primary development task of the cause of persons with disabilities is to help persons with disabilities solve their life problems and achieve labour and employment.In today's "difficult employment" social environment background,the visually impaired people in the integration of employment encountered in the problems often can't be effectively supported and resolved.The obstacles encountered by visually impaired persons are different from those of other disabilities,and case social work emphasizes that the specialized methods of individualized methods meet the requirements of solving the special employment problems of visually impaired persons.This paper involves the study of the employment of visually impaired persons by means of casework.Taking the case of the employment of visually impaired persons in proportional integration employment of an enterprise in B city as an example,this paper further analyzes the problems and needs of the clients with regard to the existing employment policy for the disabled and understanding the current situation of the employment of the visually impaired,and formulates the specific case service objectives and plans,Help clients seek more suitable labor positions,guide clients to adapt to working life,but also provide relevant support for employers,constantly explore the employment potential and individual characteristics of visually impaired persons,help them improve the social support system,and finally evaluate and reflect on the process and results of case services.In the case of the employment of visually impaired persons,through links,integration of employment resources and multiple communication to help visually impaired persons to solve the employment predicament,to guide employers to provide employment of people with disabilities with reasonable accommodation support.BesidesAttention should also be paid to the concerns and problems of employers,and social workers should also provide relevant employment guidance and social support to employers when intervening in services.
