The Outline of the National Medium-and Long-Term Education Reform and Development Plan(2010-2020)points out that the rise and fall of the nation depends on education.Education revitalization is the responsibility of all people.The Party and the government attach great importance to the development of education.Teachers are the backbone of the development of education,and the teaching and research staff are the personnel guiding teachers.With the reform of basic education curriculum,it is particularly important to improve the structure of teaching and research personnel and build a high-quality teaching and research personnel in the face of the new requirements of China's educational development.This research takes the teaching and research staff in various districts and counties of Gansu province as the research object,and comprehensively uses the literature method,the investigation method and the case study method to deeply understand the situation of the teaching and research staff' age,gender,professional title,educational background,disciplines and other aspects related to the team structure of the teaching and research staff,based on the careful analysis of the above data,this paper describes the current situation of the teaching and research staff' structure in the districts and counties of Gansu province in detail,analyzes and studies the outstanding problems and reasons,and puts forward corresponding countermeasures and suggestions on this basis.Through combing the existing relevant documents,this research finds that the current research focuses on the role orientation,professional development,functions,core qualities and functions of teaching and research sections of teaching and research staff,and the research on the structure of teaching and research staff has not been involved and studied.Based on the analysis of the data,it is found that the problems existing in the structure of the teaching and research staff in the districts and counties of Gansu Province are as follows: the young teaching and research staff are insufficient,and the elderly teaching and research staff are on the high side;The level of professional titles of teaching and research staff in some districts and counties is low.The educational level of teachers and researchers in some districts and counties islow.Problems such as unreasonable discipline structure and uneven discipline distribution of teaching and research staff.On the basis of understanding and expounding the current situation and problems of the staff structure of teachers and researchers in the districts and counties of Gansu Province,and according to the actual situation,this paper mainly expounds the reasons for the problems from several aspects such as the admission system of teachers and researchers,the nature of their posts,the evaluation mechanism of professional titles,and the establishment of teaching and research sections.Based on the experience of other provinces and the specific development of Gansu province,this paper puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions to optimize the structure of teaching and research staff,mainly including: establishing various mechanisms of teaching and research staff,perfecting the establishment system,paying attention to teaching and research work,perfecting the title evaluation system,enriching the teaching and research staff,optimizing the allocation of teaching and research staff resources in districts and counties,etc.
