A Research On Group Work Method Intervene Migrant Children's Parent-child Relationship

Parent-child relationship is the relationship between parent and child,which is permanent and intimacy.Parent-child relationship is an important part of a family,and it is very important to the growth of children.Parent-child relationship has a direct impact on the establishment of child self concept,the formation of moral judgment and the development of personality.The sixth census data show that the number of migrant children in the city is increasing.Through literature review,participant observation and interviews,the author find that migrant children's parent-child relationship exist many problems,which has affected the healthy growth of children.And compared with the urban children,the relationship between migrant children and their parents is more alienated or nervous.So it is very necessary to improve migrant children's parent-child relationship.Under the guidance of the advantages of perspective and social learning theory,the author find group work method can improve the migrant children's parent-child relationship.Before the group activities,the author collect the clients' information through interviews and find that migrant children parent-child relationship exists problems,such as parent-child interaction frequency is very low,communication theme is monotonous and communication initiative is not strong.There are some reasons to explain these phenomena.Firstly,parents are lack of skills to communication with children.Secondly,parents don't know the right way to raise children and educate children.Thirdly,Parents and children are lack of confidence to solving the problems.The last one is that parents and children do not express love with each other.In order to improve parent-child relationship,the author intend to carry out the group activities from the above several aspects.After seven group activities,according to the author's observations and the clients' feedback we find that migrant children's relationship has been greatly improved and some of the children's problems have been solved-Parents have learned to how to communicate with children and they also learned the right way to raise children,educated children.The parents' confidence to solve problems has enhanced.Children's expression ability has also improved.Parents and children understand they should express love with each other.So the group work method is very effective to deal with the problem of migrant children's parent-child relationship.But the activities also exist some problems in the process of specific implementation.The author discusses them and put forward some suggestions.This paper is divided into seven chapters elaborate on the issue.The first chapter introduces the background and significance of topics.The second chapter is the literature review,including three aspects,the parent-child relationship,migrant children and migran children's parent-child relationship.The third chapter is the research design,including the definition,theoretical foundation,research methods and data collection.The fourth chapter mainly elaborated the background of the group activities before intervention.The fifth chapter mainly introduces the design idea of group activities,the process of intervention and activity of the assessment.The sixth chapter analyzes the results after the group work method intervention.Result evaluation is divided into two sides,on the one hand,it is the feedback of the result of the group activities,on the other hand,it is the social worker's evaluation about the results of group activities.In addition this chapter analyzes the validity of the method of group work.The last chapter is the conclusion and discussion part.The conclusion part mainly expounds the present situation of the floating children's parent-child relationship and the effect of intervention.The group discussion part mainly discusses the advantages and shortcomings of the method and theory,and gives the countermeasures and suggestions.
