Research On Employment Issue Of Graduates Of Higher Vocational Colleges In Hohhot

Employment is the biggest livelihood of the people.Employment issues related to social harmony and stability and sustainable development,related to the survival and development of colleges and universities,more related to millions of families,related to the immediate interests of the vast number of graduates and the future life.The orientation of advanced vocational college is employment-oriented.With the continuous expansion of the scale of higher vocational education and the wide enrollment of students from the society,the employment situation of graduates in higher vocational colleges is becoming more and more serious,and the employment problem is arising extensive concern.As the capital of Inner Mongolia,Hohhot is the preferred city for most college graduates in Inner Mongolia.However,it is located in the remote areas of Western China.The level of economic and social development is far below that of the first-tier cities and coastal areas,and the number of jobs available is limited.In order to alleviate the difficulties in employment of graduates from higher vocational colleges,this study is based on four higher vocational colleges in Hohhot,taking the four colleges as an example.The paper deeply analyses the employment status of graduates from higher vocational colleges,finds out the existing problems and reasons of the employment,and puts forward corresponding solutions.It is of great practical significance to provide reference for future graduates and obtain employment with higher quality.This paper will take Inner Mongolia Electronic Information Vocational and Technical College,Inner Mongolia Mechanical and Electrical Vocational and Technical College,Inner Mongolia Chemical Vocational College,Inner Mongolia Business Vocational College as the research object.The paper consists of six parts,the first part is the introduction,which comprehensively expounds the research background and significance of domestic and foreign research situation,research contents,research methods,research innovations,research conditions and possible problems and solutions.The first chapter describes the employment status of graduates from Hohhot Vocational College.The second chapter describes the basic situation and results of the questionnaire survey on the employment of graduates in Hohhot higher vocational colleges,including the structure of student source,the situation of students in school,basic situation of graduates’ employment,and the paper analyzes the factors that affect graduates’ employment quality and puts forward the problems existing in employment.The third chapter analyses the factors that affect the employment of graduates in Hohhot Higher Vocational College,and elaborates them from three aspects: society,colleges and students.The fourth chapter proposes to solve the problem of graduates in Hohhot Higher Vocational College.At the social level,we should stabilize economic growth and promote employment demand;increase policy publicity and improve policy utilization;eliminate employment discrimination and promote employment equity.At the University level,it is necessary to establish a professional team of career guidance teachers,carry out in-depth practical training,school-enterprise cooperation,set up specialties rationally,and reform on specialty cultivating pattern.Students should objectively orientate themselves,innovate employment concepts,and formulate scientific and reasonable career planning.The last part carries on the whole summary of this article and the prospect of the later research.
