Scores for the senior high school and college entrance exam are a quantitative standard to measure whether a student is qualified for a higher-level school.Many students in the Guizhou-situated v-illage of Huishui have difficulty learning mathematics.Their poor math scores will directly affect their general scores in the senior high school entrance test and cause them to be rejected by high schools.Since middle school is an important period for study.If a student works hard during this period,he is likely to be admitted into a high school.This paper will help students lay a good foundation for entering society.It will also contribute to improving citizens' s accomplishments in math and provide some theoretical backup and practical experience for front-line educators in improving the math scores of academically weak students.This paper mainly adopts the methods of literature research,investigation research,case study research and empirical research.This paper takes Class 2 Grade 7 of 2017 in Xiantang Middle School of Huishui County as the experimental group and Class 3 Grade 7 as the control group.This paper mainly studies from three dimensions: achievement goals,mathematics knowledge system and teaching model.By using the variables of achievement goals,social goals and learning outcomes of mathematics,we conduct a questionnaire survey of students in Class 2 Grade 7.Through this survey,we find out the problems of students,help them to set up correct achievement goals and social goals of mathematics,and cultivate good quality of mathematics learning,so as to improve academic performance of mathematics poor students.We have carried on the statistical investigation to the grade differentiation of students in Grade 7 of 2017,so as to find out the differentiation stage of the formation of the poor students of mathematics.Then grasp the key stage,do a good job in the teaching of primary school and middle school mathematics knowledge connection,so as to improve the academic performance of poor students of mathematics.This paper investigates the classroom teaching model of teachers in Xiantang Middle School.This paper puts forward the innovative teaching model,using Onion Math app to participate in classroom teaching,to achieve efficient classroom,to ensure that poor students of mathematics can effectively obtain knowledge and improve their mathematics academic performance.Through a year of practical research,this paper finally draws a conclusion.Firstly,using achievement goals to locate the learning process and learning outcomes of students,their academic performance and achievement goals are positively correlated.Secondly,through the construction of mathematics knowledge system,compensatory teaching,strengthen the weak points of students' knowledge,so as to improve their mathematics academic performance.Thirdly,teachers can achieve efficient classroom teaching by innovating teaching model,which is conducive to students' understanding of teaching content and ability to solve problems,so as to improve mathematics academic performance.Through the above three strategies,we can improve the academic performance of poor students of mathematics in middle schools in rural areas.Based on the previous studies,this paper makes the following innovative research.Firstly,we use mathematics achievement goals to supervise the students' learning process and results.Secondly,we help students to build a middle school mathematics knowledge system,and provide guidance for the core problems of the lack of knowledge of poor students of mathematics.Thirdly,we use modern information technology to integrate into classroom teaching,uses Onion Math app to study online and offline after class,and innovates teaching model and learning model.
