A Study On Business Model Of B Company's Online Education Platform

In 2015,Premier Li Keqiang wrote the concept——“Internet plus” into his report on government work for the first time,then drew up Internet plus initiative,“Internet plus” suddenly becomes the most concerned topic among enterprises,especially “Internet plus Education” becomes a focus in society at present.Rising of online education breaks the conventional structure of education sector,no matter traditional education training institutions or internet magnates,both of who are constantly kicking the online educational field.At the same time,online education also gains capital market's favor,which gains more financial support on strategic development level.All of these prove that online education is growing vigorously.Although online education gains popularity of large scholars,there is still no relatively mature business model in China's online education market,moreover,many referential business models from abroad are more and more unadapted in China.The thesis takes the magnate of online education sector——B Company's online education platform(hereinafter referred to as B platform)as an example,uses Alexander·Ostwald's Business Model Canvas Theory and combines with operation model,current situation and future trend of B platform to dissect B platform's business model framework and optimization ideas,which consequently could actually simplify matters for China's online education and exploring the proper development road of business model.Firstly collating some correlation theories of business model.Next,the thesis will focus on B platform to deeply analyze its kernel modules by the nine elements of Business Model Canvas Theory.On the one hand,the thesis studies how the online education platform of B company creates,delivers and acquires value.On the other hand,it also extracts some major problems existing in B platform's operation.Finally,basing on the proceeding study results,the thesis puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions to facilitate B platform's business model optimization.All these studies will provide other enterprises in the online education field with theoretical and practical reference on choosing and optimizing business model.
