A Case Study On Psychological Anxiety Of Domestic Service Workers

Xi Jinping talked about home economy when he took part in Shandong delegation deliberation in March 2018.He said,current period in China,home economy was an uprising industry,it met the employment needs of migrant workers in rural areas and urban family parenting,we must do win-win work and become a love project.According to predictions,elderly people in need of care in daily life in towns,the number will increase from 20.21 million in 2018 to 21.78 million in 2020 and reach 39.29 million in 2035;newborns will also increase from 115.04 million in 2018 to 115.11 million in 2020.It can be seen from the data that the demand for domestic waiters will increase significantly in the next few years.Domestic service is a loving industry that affects the needs of thousands of households.However,due to the late start of development,there are still problems such as inadequate system and lack of clear understanding of industry standards.Domestic helpers are limited to their own education and family environment,and there are problems to be solved.Domestic helpers are almost middle-aged women,they hold low level of education and in the period of physical and mental transformation,face to psychological,physical and social practical problems,restricted by its own cultural heritage and self-debugging ability,these problems have caused many political waiters to be in anxiety for a long time,leading to the occurrence of physical and mental diseases and damaging their own health.This research uses Maslow’s hierarchy of needs theory,dominant perspective theory,and social support theory.It uses various methods such as interview method and activity participation method.Through the case study of the domestic helpers with psychological anxiety,the problem of poor stability of the service staff in the domestic service industry is solved,so as to provide a reference for alleviating the psychological anxiety of the domestic waiters and improve the stability of the industry.In this case,the intervention target has a relatively short period of psychological anxiety due to the short time to join the domestic service industry,the lack of systematic theoretical training,and the lack of support for children and other issues.The author researches the advantages of the owner of the case,sets up social support net,seeks understanding of daughters of the owner of the case,provides professional technical training,re-establishes confidence,overcomes psychological anxiety.Through research,we found that there are three reasons for causing them anxiety,individual,enterprises and society.As for three reasons,we put out improvement measures and make for the owner of the case re-establishing confidence and overcoming anxiety.
