Basketball is a collective confrontational project.Coaches and athletes need a high degree of consistency in order to achieve a particular goal.This consistency needs to be completed under the correct guidance and guidance of coaches.Coaches’ leadership will directly affect the team,that is,coaches’ leadership behavior will affect the team cohesion of the whole team.Coaches’ leadership behavior is a direct reflection of coaching ability.Team cohesion is a team’s integration strength in goals,emotions and behavior,which directly reflects the team’s combat effectiveness.Therefore,the ultimate impact of coach’s leadership behavior and team cohesion is the result of the game.In this study,Yunnan Province 2018 CUBA qualifying women basketball players as the object of investigation,using literature,psychological measurement,mathematical statistics,logical analysis to study the relationship between their coaches’ leadership behavior and team cohesion,draw the following conclusions:Athletes of different ages,levels,training years,family backgrounds and team status have significant differences in perceived leadership behaviors of coaches,while athletes of different positions on the field have no significant differences in perceived leadership behaviors of coaches.Athletes over 20 years old are better than athletes under 20 years old in perceiving coaches’ democratic behavior and social support behavior,and athletes under 20 years old are better than athletes over 20 years old in perceiving coaches’ reward behavior.First-level athletes and second-level athletes are superior to non-level athletes in perceiving coaches’ training and teaching behaviors,and non-level athletes are superior to second-level athletes in perceiving coaches’ rewarding behaviors.Second class athletes are superior to first class athletes;Athletes with more than five years of training experience are superior to athletes with less than five years’ experience in democratic behavior and social support behavior of coaches,and athletes with less than five years’ experience in rewarding behavior of coaches are superior to athletes with more than five years’ experience.Rural athletes are superior to urban athletes in perceiving coaches’ training and teaching behavior and democratic behavior,and urban athletes are superior to rural athletes in perceiving coaches’ social support behavior.The leading athletes are superior to the backup athletes in perceiving the coach’s training and teaching behavior,and the backup athletes are superior to the leading athletes in perceiving the coach’s democratic behavior.There are significant differences in team cohesion among athletes of different age groups,levels,training years,family backgrounds and team status,while there are no significant differences in team cohesion among athletes of different positions.Athletes over 20 years old are superior to those under 20 years old in task cohesion.First-level athletes and second-level athletes are superior to non-level athletes in task cohesion.Athletes over five years are superior to athletes under five years in task cohesion;Urban athletes are superior to rural athletes in terms of social cohesion.The main player is superior to the substitute player in task cohesion.It is concluded from the correlation analysis between coach leadership behavior and team cohesion.The social support behavior,democratic behavior,incentive behavior,training and teaching behavior are positively correlated with task cohesion and communication cohesion.The autocratic behavior of coaches’ leadership is negatively correlated with task cohesion and communication cohesion.In the coach leadership behavior,team cohesion and the regression analysis of the game results;As the team ranking is taken as the measurement standard,positive correlation indicates that the lower the ranking is,the negative correlation indicates that the higher the ranking is.The training and teaching behavior,democratic behavior,social support behavior and reward behavior of coaches’ leadership behavior are negatively correlated with the performance of the competition.The autocratic behavior in the coach’s leadership behavior is positively correlated with the performance of the competition.Task cohesion and communication cohesion are negatively correlated with competition results.
