Simple art education exists from ancient times and runs through the history of human education civilization and aesthetic appreciation.The aesthetic education,which takes literature,music and painting as artistic means and contents,is an important part of aesthetics education.The essential purpose of art education in the broad sense is to cultivate the people who have the all-round development,emphasize the universal improvement of people's aesthetic ability,artistic appreciation ability and self-cultivation.In the basic plan on cultural construction of the 19 th CPC National Congress,which points out that the current people's ever-increasing spiritual needs and the goal of cultural construction in the new era are to stimulate the cultural innovation and create vitality of the whole nation,and adhere to China's cultural stand.This puts forward new requirements for the whole nation,especially the new generation of young people,to recognize the value of culture,to cultivate all-round quality and to carry forward the advanced socialist culture.The rural population of our country accounts for 70% of the country's total population,and the base of the rural children and adolescents is large.The level of the development of rural compulsory education affects the overall level of the national compulsory education and the effect of improving the quality of the people in an all-round way.The corresponding physical,mental and age characteristics of middle school students determine that this stage is the important stage of students' outlook on life,the formation of values,and the establishment of the concept of aesthetic of teenagers and the enhancement of aesthetic autonomy.Aesthetic education in this period will greatly determine the youth's cultural accomplishment,aesthetic taste and even the concept and orientation of life-long art education,is the best period of aesthetic education.Rural compulsory education also pays more and more attention to the development of quality-oriented education in the overall improvement of students' ideological and moral,cultural science,labor skills and physical and mental quality,and aesthetic education is one of the most important means.Under the background of advocating quality-oriented education,art education needs to be carried out in rural middle schools in an all-round way.Compared with cities and developed areas,the art education of rural middle schools in China is relatively backward and has significant regional development differences.Yunnan is located in the border area,with many ethnic minorities,andrelatively backward in economic,cultural and educational undertakings.The universality of rural art education,the special location of local areas and the frequent occurrence of natural disasters make the urgency of strengthening rural education,artistic and cultural education particularly prominent.Taking Longquan Middle School in Longtoushan Town,Ludian County,Yunnan Province as an example,this paper makes an in-depth investigation of the art education activities in this school.Based on the angle of view of art education and the environment of middle school art education in Yunnan Province,this paper puts forward that art education plays an important role in the development of rural middle school education and the all-round and healthy development of students' comprehensive quality.And this paper understands the current situation of art education in rural middle schools,find out the existing problems and analyze the causes of the problems.Combining with the practical problems of rural art education,this paper puts forward some constructive suggestions and countermeasures.This article mainly puts forward specific countermeasures and measures from four aspects,which are that unceasingly standardizes the content and the form of art education in rural middle school class,further expands and enriches the rural middle school extracurricular art education activity,actively exploit local resources to enrich the curriculum of art education in rural middle schools,the main role of art education activities in the construction of humanistic environment after natural disasters.In the course of the investigation and research of the thesis,as a post-graduate student,the author makes use of the personal teaching experience of post-disaster reconstruction,and makes full use of the scientific research methods,survey research method,analysis induction method,and so on.Combining with the reality,this paper discusses and analyzes the present situation and existing problems of art education in rural middle schools in Yunnan Province,and puts forward some solutions,hopes to arouse scholars and educators to ponder over the problems of art education in rural areas.To some extent,it can provide reference for the reform and development of art education in rural middle schools in Yunnan Province,and promote the implementation of rural art education and comprehensive education reform.
