| Quality education has been advocated to meet the demands of social and economic development, and to improve the quality of all professionals. The knots of quality education lie in rural middle schools. Based on interviews, surveys and references, the writer has made a theoretical and practical exploration into the problems existing in quality education in rural junior middle schools in Yichun, and analyzed its causes. Hence, some measures are put forward to promote the quality education in rural junior middle schools. The paper is divided into four parts.Part I: A summary of quality education and problem advancing. In this part, the meaning, features and content of quality education are discussed, and a deep comparative analysis between exam-tackling education, quality education and comprehensive education has been made, based on which the writer clarifies the necessity of putting quality education in practice.Part II: Investigations into current state of quality education in rural junior middle school and analyses on its problems. After analyzing and summarizing the investigation information, the writer puts emphasis on clarifying the problems during the course of putting quality education in practice - serious drop-out rate, unbalanced quality development of junior middle school students, low-quality teachers, and poor teaching conditions.Part III: Factors influencing quality education in rural junior middle school. Quality education is a systematically project, and so many factors - social, domestic, scholastic, and individual - restrict the practice of quality education, working both independently and interactionally.Part IV: Explorations into countermeasures of promoting quality education in rural junior middle school. In this part, the writer puts forward some measures to strengthen quality education in rural junior middle school from five respects -building up proper educational concepts suitable for quality education, constructing reasonable curriculum system, strengthening the team of teachers, setting up scientific educational assessment system, and creating nice educational environment. |
