Rule of law education is an important part of basic education.The development of school-based curriculum for rule of law education is an important way to expand students' legal knowledge,enhance students' awareness of the rule of law and cultivate students' legal thinking.At present,there are fewer schools in the school-based curriculum for rule of law education in primary schools,and there are problems such as insufficient teacher experience and development difficulties.Taking the "Law and Life" in the high section of primary school as an example,this paper elaborates on the development of school-based curriculum in the rule of law education from five aspects,in order to provide reference for the development of such courses.The "Law and Life" school-based curriculum should be based on the core concept of the new curriculum for the development of each student,and establish a curriculum concept that focuses on students,pays attention to the reality of life,and pays attention to the cultivation of the rule of law awareness.And around this concprt,The principle of "unity,adaptability,flexibility" and the general goal of "increasing students' legal knowledge,enhancing students' awareness of the rule of law,forming legal instinct,and establishing faith in rule of law" are formulated.The school-based curriculum on“Law and Life ”should be based on the protection of adolescents' rights,based on “the standards of primary school morality and social curriculum” and the "Adolescent Rule of Law Education" and other related documents,with the theme of "First Knowing Rights-Understanding Rights-Maintaining Rights-Exercising Rights" the main line,combined with the school's specific curriculum to design the course content.Finally,the implementation of the school-based curriculum of Law and Life should be evaluated from two aspects: teacher teaching and student learning.
