Social work ethics is a beacon of navigation in social work practice. With the continuous development of social work in China, the social and cultural factors that arise from the different social work in China have led to many social work ethics problems in local social work practice. One of the most important issues is how the concepts of “transference” and “counter-transference” in Western social work are constantly intertwined in the form of “ritual” culture and multiple relationships in the “personal” society, and finally form social work with local characteristics.Ethical dilemma. This article lists four positive examples of “positive transference”,“negative transference”,“positive counter-transference” and “negative reversal”,showing“transference” and “reverse movement” in the process of localization. The ethical dilemma of "love" in the local social environment shows positive and negative effects. The preliminary research points out the endogenous reasons for the ethical dilemma of social transference and counter-transference in China, and attribute it to the local “non-single-complex” social structure, and attribute it to external causes.Lack of local theoretical rules, lack of specialization, etc. Finally, based on the perspective of local culture, this paper explores the positive and negative functions of the ethical dilemma of "transference" and "counter-transference",transforms the problem perspective, and combines the differences between Chinese and Western social structure and professional practice to discuss how to exert "transference".And the positive function of the concept of "counter-transference" in the local application, avoiding negative functions, and exploring how to localize the Chinese social work ethics on the basis of Western professional ethics.
