The Current Situation Of Educational Technology In Cambodia And The Suggestions To Its Development

Educational technology becomes so commonly use and replaces the traditional one particularly in developed countries with advanced technology.And now it is also known as an effective method in teaching and learning that it should be applied and more used in some developing countries like Cambodia.What takes this research into account is because it is commonly recognized as a vital study for government,researchers and educators to improve the quality of education as well as to update the traditional teaching and learning method to a modern one which can be more effective and less time consuming.In this regard,as a developing country,Cambodian educational technology is not well known like some other developed countries which learning and teaching might produce different results due to the application of technology and awareness.Then the study of current situation of education in Cambodia will prove how modern is education in Cambodia.In accordance to data collection,it will be collected in Cambodian known as primary data and the knowledge for the further research drawn from the reading from previous literature review done by other former scholars or researchers.It's also known as very new research topic in Cambodia context as so far not many researchers have done this research before regarding to this respective topic.In addition,the main research questions will focus on the provision of technological materials in university,the activities done online and the opinions regarding to online education in Cambodia.The result from 150 participants will lead to the discovery of educational technology in Cambodia and the opinions they have towards educational technology.The research also aims to discover the challenges and problems of educational technology that Cambodia has always been facing.By discovering all the challenges and problems,educationists,researchers and government will be quickly able to improve the educational system to be more modern that teaching and learning soon will be equipped with technology devices.Thus less time will be consumed in teaching and learning performance will be enjoyable and satisfactory.To further improve the educational technology in Cambodia,the research also includes the comparison between the educational technology in China and in Cambodia.With this comparison,Cambodia will be able to find out what is good about the Chinese educational technology,and Cambodia will easily be able to find out what to be changed and added to make educational technology in Cambodia better.
