A Study On The Composition Teaching Ideas And Practice Of Lv Shuxiang

Mr.Lv was the great master of linguistics,who made a successive research which established the linguistics of China,especially the contrastive study.At the same time,he was also one of the three most important and respectable masters in Chinese language education,including the primary and secondary Chinese language education.His literary works containing the practical teaching as well as the academic meaning that pointed a bright way for Chinese language education regardless of in the past or in the future.His teaching of writing was based on the perspective of linguistics,which are enormously influential.There are three chapters in this paper.Chapter one,the elements that influence the shaping of Mr.Lv's ideas of writing thoughts,there are mainly two aspects in this part.They are contemporary factors and individual factors.Mr.Lv was mainly affected by these two factors.The former one includes the Literal Reformation,the National Language Movement,and the special period in 20^th century.The latter one includes the personal practices,the scholar factors and his identity as linguistics.In chapter two,there are mainly three aspects in Mr.Lv's ideas of writing.They are styles of writing,the correction of composition and practical writing.In the aspect of styles of writing,Mr.Lv pointed that“to be a modern man,to write a contemporary script”,“to express by your own way”,and“writing truth fits for different kinds of writing”.In the part of correction,Mr.Lv expresses his ideas about the ways of correction and the standards of correction.In the last part,Mr.Lv emphasizes the significance of the practical writing,and the differences between the practical writing and the literary writing.For the latter one,In chapter three,I analyze the ideology of writing based on Mr.Lv's various documents and information,which makes a foundation of the practicing of the styles of writing,the practical writing and the correction of composition.With the development of times and society,China's education has carried out curriculum reforms eight times in the past years.It is obvious that no matter what curriculum reforms carry out,the objectives are the same.Fruitful language education thoughts and language teaching theories appear accordingly.Although Mr.Lv's ideas of writing teaching were proposed under a particular historical background,the standards of Chinese teaching in different learning stages can still find some common in Mr.Lv's writing ideology.Mr.Lv,the irreplaceable linguist,a conscientious Chinese language educator,shows solicitude for the growth of Chinese language writing teaching.There was a valuable academic wealth and spiritual legacy left behind after his leaving.For this point of view,it is necessary to make Mr.Lv's ideas of writing teaching bright again in teaching practice.
