Since the 21 st century,with the rapid development of globalization and the wide application of information technology,countries around the world have increasingly attached importance to improving the overall quality of their citizens,emphasizing the talent power,rejuvenating the country through science and education,and implemented a series of national development strategies to enhance the competitiveness of the country.Under this background,it has become a general consensus to attach importance to science education and emphasize that science education should start from young children.Kindergartens at home and abroad are also actively exploring science education,and have achieved some results.However,there are still many problems in science education in kindergartens,and it is difficult to achieve the expected goal of science education.In order to solve the problem,various countries have issued corresponding policies to guide the work of kindergartens.For example,the State Council’s opinions on the current development of preschool education have promoted the development of science education in kindergartens.Kunming Z kindergarten actively explores and innovates in the exploration of science education,combines life education with science education,and forms a unique development concept and thinking.So that children’s scientific literacy has been developed,teachers’ ability has been improved,and Z kindergarten has become a kindergarten with high social identity.This study takes Z kindergarten as a case study,aiming at systematically combing the process of science education in Z kindergarten,and refining ideas,methods and paths.Summarizing experience and analyzing problems can provide reference for other kindergartens to promote science education.Based on the Questionnaire of Scientific Literacy of Preschool Teachers in Wuhua District and the related theories of scientific literacy,this research divides preschool teachers ’scientific literacy into three dimensions: basic scientific literacy,attitude towards life education and scientific education,and implementation of scientific education from the perspective of life education.It also divides the scientificliteracy of Z kindergarten teachers and parents into three dimensions: life education and scientific education.Combination of attitudes to conduct a practical survey.The survey found that at present,the Z kindergarten in Kunming has expanded the space of science education,sublimated the goal of science education,enriched the connotation of science education,and practiced the concept of science education.However,there are still some problems,such as the difficulty of fully implementing the life perspective in science education,the lack of deep integration of children’s scientific literacy and life consciousness,the lack of comprehensive understanding and implementation of children’s scientific literacy,and the impact on children’s overall grasp of relevant knowledge.The main reasons for these problems are: lack of overall planning;unclear development goals;low quality of teachers’ life sciences;insufficient depth of content integration.In view of the problems of science education in Z kindergarten from the perspective of life education,this study puts forward the following suggestions: first,kindergartens should strengthen the integration,coordination and institutionalization of life education and science education;second,formulate clear development goals,attach importance to the overall development of children’s scientific literacy and life consciousness;third,focus on the quality of Science education in kindergartens and improve education.Teachers’ understanding of life education;Fourth,pay attention to life education in kindergarten scientific activities,and guide children to respect life.Finally,based on the comprehensive analysis of the practice and exploration of science education in Z kindergarten from the perspective of life education,three thoughts and prospects are put forward: first,the re-recognition of the value of life education in science education;second,the principles that should be followed to improve the quality of science education;third,the feasible way to strengthen science education in kindergarten is discussed.
