The current political cartoon is a carrier for the audience to record current affairs and make immediate comments in a unique art form.Its immediacy determines its higher historical value,while its exciting and ideological features make it have teaching functions.Therefore,it is widely favored by teachers and students,and more and more introduced into the history class of high school as a teaching material.This essay adopts a questionnaire method for students in a high school in Hangzhou,Zhejiang province.It is found that the application of current political cartoons in high school history classroom teaching mainly has the following problems: comic collection channels are single,unreasonable selection,interpretation is not comprehensive.While using multichannel to gather materials and choosing strategies scientifically can solve the problem of the source of current political cartoons.Through the proper picture processing and the reasonable interpretation strategy,the current political cartoon interpretation way can be improved;The case study of current political cartoons throughout the class provides a reference for the specific application of current political cartoons in teaching.By acting such strategies,the application of political cartoons in high school history classes can effectively stimulate students' interest in learning and activate history classes;it can also boost students' confidence,deepen their history knowledge.It can also develop students' learning ability,improving students' historical understanding.However,through research and practice,teachers should be careful to use cartoon materials in the history classrooms and pay attention to the application of multiple teaching methods and various historical materials.In general,the application of current political cartoons in high school history classroom teaching should not only conforms to the basic concept of cultivating students' historical core quality in the new history curriculum standard,but also conforms to the requirements of highlighting students' subjectivity in the new curriculum reform.
