| Classical Chinese teaching plays a key role in Chinese teaching in middle school.The students can improve their thinking ability,cultivate their aesthetic taste and enhance their literacy attainment through the study of classical Chinese learning.Our nation’s splendid culture and history treasure can also be mastered by learning.So,cultivation of classical Chinese reading ability in middle school is significant.But,current teaching status is not satisfying.Without good classical Chinese reading habit,reading ability cannot be achieved.In conclusion of the teaching experience of self and others,in combination of the investigation and analysis of practical situation,in reference of amounts of journals,the author came up with several humble opinions on cultivating reading ability in current classical Chinese teaching in middle school settings.The paper is constructed by three chapters:Chapter One mainly elaborate the cultivating objects and significance of cultivating classical Chinese reading ability in middle school.By fully interpret classical Chinese teaching objectives of Chinese curriculum standards(2001 edition),the necessity of cultivating classical Chinese reading ability is clarified.The current and long-run impacts of cultivating classical Chinese reading ability of middle school students are also specified from personal and national perspectives.Chapter Two mainly underwent the research of current classical Chinese teaching status in middle school by investigations and analysis.Part of the students and teachers in Beicheng Middle School,Nantong,Jiangsu Province were recruited in the research.Chapter Three offered the approaches to cultivate classical Chinese learning ability in middle school students based on the research results of Chapter Two.Developing corresponding cultivating strategies in teaching and learning are the essential protocols in resolving current classical Chinese teaching shortage in middle school.Teachers need to positively transform their teaching concept,emphasize the combination of words and articles and enhance the literacy attainment of self.Students also need to cultivate interests of learning classical Chinese,develop good reading habits and expand their classical Chinese word bank. |
