How to cultivate students’ ability to solve problems in mathematics is an indispensable part of implementing the requirements of new curriculum standards.The study of mathematics is inseparable from solving problems.The focus is on cultivating students’ thinking logic ability.Teachers pay attention to cultivating students’ ability to solve problems,not only It can help improve students’ performance,and can also cultivate students’ thinking ability and improve their overall quality.This paper makes use of the research methods of literature research and questionnaire survey,expounds the research background,research significance and research status of high school students’ ability to solve mathematics problems.It describes the related concepts and theoretical basis of high school students’ ability to solve problems in mathematics.The students conducted a questionnaire survey,discussed the problems encountered in the process of solving high school students’ problems,analyzed the factors that existed in students’ problem solving difficulties,and gave the methods to cultivate students’ ability to solve problems in mathematics: comprehend mathematics ideas and improve problem-solving skills;Using a multi-solution to expand the problem-solving ideas;attach importance to inquiry and promotion,and strengthen the problem-solving consciousness.It exemplifies the ideas of functions and equations,classification discussion,combination of numbers and forms,mathematical methods such as mathematical induction,meta-method,and counter-evidence.The above method of cultivating students’ ability to solve problems is applied to teaching practice,analyzes the students’ achievements,and verifies the teaching effect of cultivating students’ ability to solve problems.It sums up the ability of teachers to develop students’ problem-solving ability,which can stimulate students’ interest in learning and promote students.The conclusion of comprehensive development.Cultivating the ability of high school students to solve problems in mathematics can not only enrich the professional knowledge of teachers,but also improve the ability of education and teaching.It also helps students develop good habits of solving problems,improve the efficiency of learning,and cultivate divergent thinking and perfection of problem solving Mathematical knowledge system.
