In recent years,there had been several large-scale social movements represented by student groups in Taiwan,which has prompted people to focus on teenager's citizenship education in Taiwan.The both sides of the strait share common cultural roots.Citizenship education also has its own theoretical foundation and universal concept.Naturally,it should have some basic concepts that are similar.However,the stage development and the social environment are different,and the two sides have their own focus and connotation characteristics.Facing the diversification status and problems of teenager's citizenship education in Taiwan,in-depth discussion of the traditional Chinese cultural origins and influences on teenager's citizenship education in Taiwan,drawing on its useful theoretical and practical experience,and more effectively guiding and promoting the development of cross-strait youth civic education It undoubtedly has important theoretical and practical significance.This study uses the unified methodology of logic and historical,and adopts the model of regional education special research to systematically sort out and deeply explore the basic ideas,historical processes,social background,implementation status,effectiveness problems and characteristics of Taiwanese youth.This paper clarifies the concept of teenager's citizenship education in Taiwan,and then elaborates on the theoretical basis of republicanism,liberalism,communitarianism,multiculturalism and citizenship education.Using the historical research method,the historical track and connotation of teenager's citizenship education in Taiwan are interpreted,and divided into three stages: "the period of the education of the imperial people","the period of the national education" and "the period of the education of the inhabitants".Taking citizenship education as a link of universal connection and mutual influence in social ecology,this paper made a field investigation and grasped the political,economic and cultural ecology of Taiwan society from a macro perspective.Use literature analysis method to study education laws and regulations,policies,curriculum program in Taiwan,present contemporary teenager's citizenship education in Taiwan is to cultivate citizenship knowledge,citizenship virtue,promote civil society participation,strengthen the "Taiwan subjectivity" in essence.The content of civic education is rich and delicate,which emphasises democracy,Taiwan has established a trinity structure of school,family and society guaranteed by a complete legal system.Relying on social support,abundant resources and small-class teaching,it has diversified teaching methods of citizenship education,paid attention to the design of activity courses and invisible education,and strengthened the thinking and exploration ability of teenagers.The main teaching modes are listed as cooperative learning mode,value learning mode,non-directive teaching mode and simulated training mode.This article points out that the results of Taiwan's youth civic education are outstanding,but there are also many problems.The knowledge of teenager's citizenship education in Taiwan is popularized,but the core concept is still unclear.Citizens' participation in activities increases,but their trust in organizations is low.It has developed with the development of civil society,but its guidance to social functions is insufficient;Multi-culture has formed,but the identity crises are serious.On the basis of systematically grasping and reflecting on the content of Taiwan's youth civic education system,the paper summarizes its characteristics.Teenager's citizenship education in Taiwan has its own characteristics: contemporaneity,aboriginality and ecology.Facing the current situation of teenager's citizenship education in Taiwan,the mainland should maintain moral and cultural self-confidence and optimize the ecology of civil society.Expand soft topic resources and seize the opportunity of network public opinion;Make good use of regional human resources and open up the local education system.
