Childhood,as the basic stage of life,plays a very important role in cognitive development,emotional cultivation and socialization.In this stage,children will face many direct or indirect learning in life and school.Therefore,continuous learning and understanding is an important task in childhood and an essential factor in children's growth and development.However,in today's society,more and more children have learning problems,and poor academic performance is one of the major problems.It is easy for ordinary children to develop their reading,writing and other abilities.However,it is more difficult for children with poor academic performance.With the change of social work service objects from special groups to demand groups,children have become one of the main service objects of social work.Therefore,to improve the learning situation of children with academic disabilities,improve the learning adaptability of children with academic disabilities,reduce the negative impact of academic disabilities on children,and reverse the situation of academic disabilities is an urgent practical challenge for both children and society.As a self-help major,social work solves problems differently from psychology and pedagogy.From the perspective of social work,children with learning disabilities are no longer the result of one-sided factors,such as their own lack of attention and less attention from their families,but the result of a comprehensive consideration of many factors.Place the service object in the surrounding environment,change the cognition and behavior of the children through the change of the environment,so as to solve the problem of the children,make the children get out of the predicament as soon as possible,and then restore and enhance the social function of the children.From the perspective of social work,on the basis of sorting out the current research situation on the characteristics,causes and social work intervention practice of learning disabilities,this paper puts the service object's learning disabilities into a small environment through the comprehensive application of the dominance perspective theory and behavior modification model,and under the guidance of action research methods.Using the methods and skills of case social work,after twelve times of service,it can be divided into four stages: the exploratory stage of case service,the integration stage of environmental resources,the changing stage of the case owner's behavior and the consolidation stage of service effectiveness.Beginning with the advantages of children,we can not only improve the bad behavior and low attention of the client under the bad academic problems,but also increase the concern and support of the client in the surrounding environment such as family and school,and promote the formation and development of an effective environment,so as to improve the learning situation of the client,enhance their learning adaptability and work together to alleviate or solve the children's bad academic knowledge.In this process,we explored an effective way for social work to intervene in children's learning disabilities.
