Reading literacy is not only an important support for the cultivation of students’ Core Competencies in Chinese,but also one of the key abilities for the development of basic education in various countries.In this study,the author use "Chinese and foreign fairy tale" unit in grade four as a case,selected two classes as the experimental class,to develop students reading unit teaching action research.Combining with the current details of new changes and the development of the Chinese subject core literacy requirements,the author makes every effort in the traditional teaching of "unit" on the basis of the content of the "unit",the "unit" target for proper adjustment and optimization to explore a reasonable and effective implementation plan.This study mainly includes the following five parts:The introduction explains the importance,necessity and feasibility of the research topic from three aspects:international background,policy interpretation and teaching unit.To explore the theoretical and practical significance of this study,the research status of "reading literacy" and "unit teaching" at home and abroad was sorted out and analyzed to clarify the research ideas and determine the research methods.First chapter is to meet the needs of research,defining the relevant concepts,and analyzed the core concepts,from constructivism learning theory,establishment situation and situational learning theory,the theory and method of PQ4 R reading of the zone of proximal development strategy four aspects this paper expounds the theoretical basis for the development of students’ reading literacy,unit teaching for this study provides the theoretical basis,teaching strategy guide.Chapter two develops primary school reading of unit teaching plan preparation,according to the choice of teaching content,the teaching units were analyzed,and identified by four grade of primary school Chinese schools are "Chinese and foreign fairy tale" unit of the test unit,selected the two experimental classes,through analyzing test class learning put forward research hypothesis,design the unit for the development of students’ reading literacy teaching process,develop a plan of study.Chapter three is a unit of teaching action research on the development of elementary students’ reading literacy.From the plan,action,action,observation and reflection on four aspects to carry on the two rounds of action research,the second round of action research based on the disadvantages existing in the course of action research in the first round of scheme of modification,and the two rounds of action research data collection and analysis,as reference data for the fourth chapter conclusions and recommendations.The fourth chapter is conclusion and suggestion.The author draws the research conclusions based on the comparative analysis of the pre-test and post-test data of the two classes and the evaluation of teachers,and puts forward the research suggestions for the development of primary school students’ reading literacy.This study based on unit teaching development of primary school students reading literacy as theme,the incremental permeability and comprehensive characteristics.It is not only the current teachers engaged in the work of primary school Chinese reading teaching to provide certain theoretical guidance,also the ongoing or upcoming unit of developing student’s reading literacy curriculum research and development and provide schools and teachers reasonable and effective guidance strategy.
