The history of chemistry is a historical summary of the formation and development of chemistry knowledge,and is the most valuable teaching resource in chemistry education.Its positive role in helping students understand knowledge,stimulating students' enthusiasm and interest in learning,and developing students' abilities has been fully verified by the international education community.How to integrate the history of chemistry into chemistry teaching and infiltrate the cultivation of students' scientific spirit is not only an important subject of chemistry education,but also a core concept of new curriculum reform that promotes students' ability to adapt to the future life.In order to explore the positive role of the integration of chemistry history teaching in improving students' scientific spirit,this study presents the contents of chemical history in the curriculum standard and the form of presentation of chemical history,which is required for senior high school chemistry in the people's Education Edition,and presents the column.An in-depth analysis of the age and nationality demonstrates the basic teaching requirements of chemical history in teaching materials;The teachers and students of the third middle school of Liupanshui City of the internship school were selected as the research objects.The interviews and questionnaires of the chemical history and scientific spirit were respectively conducted to provide a feasibility analysis for the cultivation of scientific spirit in the teaching of chemical history;Combining the principles of chemistry history teaching,and referring to the HPS model,under the guidance of the five-stage operation steps of “demo,abstraction,learning history,design experiment or scientific viewpoint and empirical test,comment and evaluation”,The classroom teaching design that incorporates the history of chemistry into the teaching of “redox reaction” and “ammonia” is a typical case,assisting in the distribution of chemical history data card and holding the theme class meeting and other activities to carry out a series of practical research,and Finally combined with the results of the students' pre-test questionnaire survey and the students' separate interviews,the quantitative and qualitative practice evaluations were carried out.The research results show that the integration of all-round chemical history into the practice of chemistry teaching in HPS mode not only helps students to understand knowledge and mobilize students' enthusiasm for learning,but also enriches students' knowledge of chemical history and improves their knowledge.The scientific spirit of students in the areas of "rational suspicion,exploration and seeking knowledge,truth-seeking,cooperation,social responsibility,innovation,scientific dedication".Practice has proved that it is necessary and necessary to strengthen the study of chemistry history and cultivate students' scientific spirit.
