The Teaching Design And Practice Research Of Chemical Experiment PPECA Teaching Model Based On The Improvement Of Key Competences

The PPECA teaching model of chemical experiment was first proposed by Wang Zhenduo a master of education in Shanghai normal university.This teaching model mainly serves for the teaching of chemical experiment.The teaching mode of “PPECA” five capital letters represent Observe the Phenomenon module、Discover the Problems module、Explore the Essence module、Draw a Conclusion module and Application module.From actual conditions,this paper adopts literature research to summarize the definition、 development present situation 、the basic elements and the basis theoretical of The PPECA teaching model of chemical experiment.At the same time,Take the compulsory education stage of chemical teaching material unit 5 “the law of conservation of mass” in the first quarter,the unit 7 “combustion and extinguishing”,the unit 8 “the chemical properties of the metal”and the unit 11“the common salt in life ”for example to designed the teaching cases that meet the requirements of the PPECA chemical experiment teaching mode and and carry on a teaching practice.In order to get a comprehensive understanding of the students in this mode of study,this paper adopts case study method,questionnaire survey method,interview method,comparative analysis,and write the Key Competences survey questionnaire and each case corresponding chemical test that to inspect the chemical changes and the development of students’ Key Competences of The PPECA teaching model of chemical experiment.Through practical research I found that the PPECA teaching model of chemistry experiment can not only promote the improvement of students’ chemistry scores,but also promote the development of students’ Key Competences.The teaching model can effectively stimulate students’ interest in learning and make the classroom atmosphere more active.It is welcomed by most students.Finally,I summarized the advantages and disadvantages of the PPECA teaching model of chemistry experiments in the practical process.I puts forward some Suggestions and prospects for the effective implementation of the PPECA teaching model,so as to provide some references for future researchers.
