Chemistry is a subject based on experiment, which is one of the most basic characteristics of chemistry. This is because chemical experiment is an important means to establish, certify and revise theoretical models of chemical science. The cognitive psychological order of chemical learners is always reflected in the laws from intuition to abstraction, from macro to micro, from experience to theory, and using theory to solve practical problems.Experiments are the necessary activities to follow this cognitive law. However,in the current chemistry teaching experiments, most schools and classes take examination scores as the ultimate goal and one-sidedly take exercise intensive training as the main teaching content. They hardly do experiments or even publicize the assertion that experiments are not conducive to improving scores. The fundamental reason is that chemistry teachers fail to give full play to and explore the educational and learning promoting functions of experiments in chemistry practice, resulting in the practical belief that "experiments can be done or not done".This research is based on constructivism theory,Dewey's "learning by doing" learning theory and multiple intelligence theory. On the basis of investigation and research,it puts forward the learning promoting function of chemical experiment: cognitive function, interest stimulating function, methodology function, problem function, inquiry function, moral education function and aesthetic function.Examples are given to illustrate the embodiment of these functions and teaching strategies. On the basis of constructing the strategic model, this paper investigates the development of the promotion function of chemistry experiment for some high school students, compiles the teaching case of developing the promotion function of chemistry experiment for high school students to carry out the test in class, lets the students participate in the inquiry experiment, and selects the results of the school's first monthly test as the pre-test and the mid-term test as the post-test,and uses spss to analyze the significance of the independent sample t.According to the data analysis, there is little difference in standard deviation and standard error of the mean between the experimental class and the control class.in the independent sample t test,P=0.141,p > 0.05.the results show that there is no significant difference in the pre-test results between the experimental class 1 and the control class 2.Afterthe mid-term examination, the independent sample t test in the data showed a significant difference(P=0.02,P<0.05),and the confidence interval did not contain zero results. From the investigation and result analysis,it is concluded that the comparison between the two classes at the same level shows that the classes developed with the function of promoting learning through experiments have achieved better results after the mid-term examination, which shows that the traditional experimental teaching can no longer meet the needs of the current students' development and needs to adjust the experimental teaching plan in time in line with the actual situation of the students. Therefore,it is necessary to make full use of the function of promoting learning of experiments, better realize the optimization of the function of promoting learning of chemical experiments, and more effectively serve the all-round development of students. This research mainly aims at optimizing the teaching strategy of the function of promoting chemistry experiment by digging and developing the function of chemistry experiment, providing help for promoting students' learning, and providing reference for other teachers or scholars' practical research on the development and utilization of chemistry experiment.
