Education for sustainable development has attracted international attention since the 1990s,and has also been highly valued by the Party and the government in China.Especially since the 18th National Congress of the Party,the country has promoted the implementation of education for sustainable development as an important part of educational modernization.In January2018,the Ministry of Education issued a new version of the curriculum plan and standards for senior high schools,including the Standards for Ideological and Political Courses in Senior High Schools?2017 edition?.Political identity,scientific spirit,awareness of the rule of law and core literacy of public participation have become the orientation and foothold of all teaching work,and are in accordance with the purpose of sustainable education.Therefore,it is necessary to strengthen the research on the integration of education for sustainable development into senior high school ideological and political teaching from both theoretical and practical perspectives,so as to enrich the theory of senior high school ideological and political teaching,promote the reform of senior high school ideological and political teaching,and promote teachers and students'in-depth understanding of education for sustainable development,and improve the effectiveness of education for sustainable development.Based on this,this paper,discusses the implementation of education for sustainable development in the teaching of“Economy and Society”by using the methods of literature research and case analysis and combing the relevant foreign literature.This paper first elaborates on the significance of implementing education for education for sustainable development in the teaching of“Economy and Society”,which is conducive to the formation of“core literacy”of senior high school students,to the promotion of the reform of Ideological and political teaching,and to the abandonment of the disadvantages of examination-oriented education.Secondly,based on the report“Education for Sustainable Development:Learning Objectives”issued by UNESCO and“Curriculum Criteria for Ideological and Political Courses in Senior High Schools?2017?”issued by China,this paper elaborates on the two documents as the basic and direct basis for carrying out education for sustainable development in the teaching of“Economy and Society”;and analyses how to carry out education for sustainable development in the teaching of“Economy and Society”.Education for sustainable development is feasible,that is,ideological and political education and education for sustainable development have consistency in training objectives;education for sustainable development has been incorporated into the teaching system of high school ideological and political course,which has rich educational resources for education for sustainable development.Thirdly,according to the new curriculum standard and the goal of education for sustainable development and the actual needs of teaching,this paper focuses on the implementation of education for sustainable development in the teaching of“Economy and Society”,including the teaching objectives in three aspects:emotional attitudes,values,skills and abilities,knowledge and understanding,and elaborates on the designation according to the new curriculum standard and the combination of sustainable development.In addition,the teaching methods such as value clarification method,case teaching method,situational teaching method and action plan design method are elaborated.The basic idea of implementation is to integrate the teaching objectives,contents and teaching methods of the two in a certain degree,relying on the teaching of the relevant contents in“Economy and Society”and guided by education for sustainable development,so as to ensure that the original teaching tasks must be completed and that the original teaching tasks should be extended reasonably to education for sustainable development.Finally,in order to improve the effectiveness of education for sustainable development in the teaching of“Economy and Society”,this paper puts forward the principle and method of“active”treatment of curriculum content in theoretical teaching,and the basic strategy of“curricular”treatment of activity content in practical teaching.
