Since China entered the 21 st century,the authorities have comprehensively promoted quality education,deepened educational reform,and paid attention to the comprehensive development of students' ideology,morality,cultural quality,scientific knowledge,sports skills and aesthetic consciousness.Art education,as one of the important ways for home to promote quality education in an all-round way,can not only fully and effectively improve students' artistic accomplishment,but also enrich campus cultural life from multiple levels and perspectives.Concerning the concept of "fine arts",the meaning in the new curriculum is wider than that in the previous textbooks.It extends to a wide range of fields,including painting,sculpture,craft,photography,computer art,advertising design,product design,architecture and environmental art,which gives more humanistic connotations to art disciplines.With time went by,the New Curriculum Standard is developed and enriches the content structure of the fine arts curriculum in middle schools.The new teaching concept is conducive to the formation of students 'innovative spirit and technological consciousness.At the same time,it is conducive to promoting the formation of students' personality and the comprehensive development of their values.With the rapid development of China's economy and the improvement of people's living standards,people's aesthetic vision and taste are improved because of he increasing international exchanges in various fields such as economy,literature,art and so on.Therefore,the society has put forward new requirements for art educators.With the improvement of people's living standards,there are new and higher requirements for the living environment.On the one hand,it is to pursue the enjoyment of visual "beauty",on the other hand,we pursue the humanized function of various objects in our daily life.Therefore,we need to cultivate students' knowledge in this field from middle school,so that they can know that the concept of eco-environmental protection and humanization which never be out of date.This is also the reason why our environmental art plays an important role in the middle school curriculum.Therefore,we will optimize the curriculum content of environmental art in the middle school art education,so as to help students become the all-round development in the new era.
