The teaching of ancient poetry in middle school plays an important role in cultivating middle school students to inherit outstanding national cultural traditions and improve individual humanities.However,the teaching of ancient poetry in middle school has always been a difficult point to overcome in Chinese teaching.And at present,the change of textbooks from old to new makes the teaching more difficult.After collecting and reorganizing relevant literature materials and reading materials about relevant theoretical and practical studies on teaching methods as well as materials about the Department Compiled Version and the new curriculum reform,this article,based on cognitive psychology and related learning theories,is a study on the teaching methods of ancient poetry from both the theoretical and practical aspects.Details are the three chapters as follows.Chapter One firstly in order to have a macro understanding of the new and old textbooks,collect,compare,and analysis the same articles and different articles of the ancient poems in the two editions.Then,The author will analyzes the new ancient poetry and texts in the textbook of the Department of Editing from the perspective of unit theme and ancient poetry and emotional theme.Finally,discusses and analyzes the purpose of adding the ancient poetry into the“Ministry of Education Complies Chinese Textbooks for Compulsory Education ”from the perspective of selection criteria and unit structure,and explore the added value.Chapter Two is a questionnaire survey on the status of teaching and learning about the new additional ancient poetry section since the use of the textbook.From the teachers’ perspective,the author surveyed the teaching methods,the understanding of ancient poetry and new textbooks,and the teaching of extracurricular ancient poetry;from the students’ perspective,the author made a survey on the recognition of ancient poetry,the teacher’s teaching method,the student’s learning method,and extracurricular ancient poetry.After the questionnaires,the author analyze the problems in the investigation and explore the reasons.Based on the current teaching situation of the textbooks in the“Ministry of Education Complies Chinese Textbooks for Compulsory Education ”and comparison with the texts in Chinese Version,chapter Three will propose some teaching strategies of the additional texts.In order to demonstrate this research,the author selects the new ancient poetry article "Autumn Words" for practical teaching and analyzes the teaching effect.
