Arts education play an important and irreplaceable role in "cultivating virtue and cultivating talents","quality education" and promotion of students' overall quality.It helps foster primary school students' perfect personality,broad vision,a happy and healthy mood and abundant emotions,and strength students' imagination and creativity.Art class in primary school is an important subject of quality education for students.As an important part of quality education,arts education is often called emotional education.With the development of quality-oriented education and the exposure of more problems in primary school students' emotional status in recent years,more people have a new understanding of the importance of emotional education,and the importance of arts education in emotional education is more prominent.In this paper,the principle of combining theory with practice is followed to find problems,analyze problems and solve problems.The research is divided into five parts.The first part is the introduction of the research,which mainly discusses the purpose and significance of the research as well as the current research situation,and explain the core concept—arts education and emotional education—involved in this research.This part is the layout of this paper.This part will focus on the analysis of research literature.On the one hand,this part help learning from results researched by experts and scholars to broaden the mind—seek theoretical support for this paper.On the other hand,it also analyzes the deficiencies in existing literature and demonstrates the necessity of this study.The second part discusses the relationship between arts education and the development of primary school students.It also analyzes the advantages of art education in cultivating students' emotions,and lays the groundwork for the necessity and importance of emotional education in primary arts education.Because arts education of primary schools has certain advantages in teaching students to form correct aesthetics,improve aesthetic ability,cultivate innovative capacity,promoteall-round development,and drive cultural inheritance and innovation.So,it can improve communication ability of our students and cultivate harmonious interpersonal relations.It can also mobilize inner positive emotions and cultivate their qualities of loving life.It is an important goal of arts education in primary schools to keep close contact with other subjects and promote the overall development of students.The third part,taking Panzhou No.3 primary school in Liupanshui city,Guizhou province as an example,investigates the current situation of emotional education in art teaching of primary schools and analyzes the deficiencies and reasons.Through the questionnaire analysis of the two parts and the interview,this paper agrees with that the following points are the main problems in the art emotional education of primary school students.Firstly,the arts education of students still emphasizes skills but ignores quality.Secondly,the emotional education in fine arts education emphasizes theory but ignores practice.Thirdly,emotional education is lack of theoretical guidance and a proper condition.According to the analysis,it is concluded that the art teachers' comprehensive quality needs to be improved,the lack of attention to emotional training and the shortcomings of the art class evaluation methods need to be promoted.The fourth part discusses the contents,methods,principles and guarantee measures of emotional education in primary arts education,hopes to solve the problems in front.According to the characteristics of art class in primary schools and the emotional characteristics of primary school students,it is believed that the main content of primary school arts education and emotional education is to cultivate students' moral sense,their sense of reason and beauty.In terms of how to carry out emotional education in art class of primary schools,this paper puts forward four methods,which are emotional education through teaching activities,teacher-student interaction,scene setting,and manual activities.These methods are put forward based on the actual situation of arts education in primary schools.All these methods strive to combine the ability with educational practice to improve the guidance of practical work.In order to promote the effect of emotional teaching,the principles of long-termand comprehensive combination,phased and coherence combination,initiative and timeliness combination and diversity and flexibility combination should be adhered to in the emotional education of art education in primary schools.The implementation of these principles is not only the need of quality education,but also the need of emotional education in art education.In order to ensure the smooth development of primary arts and emotional education,in view of the problems reflected in the previous questionnaire survey,this paper puts forward some measures to guarantee the quality of primary arts and emotional education from these aspects: constantly improving the standards of art teachers,the importance of emotional education in arts education,and the evaluation methods of arts education.Based on the characteristics of fine arts from the perspective of image teaching and color teaching,this part has designed two teaching cases to further illustrate the methods of emotional education in arts education of primary schools.The fifth part is to summarize the whole text,form the research results,and summarize the deficiencies in the research.Emotional education in arts education of primary school is still in the stage of exploration and experience accumulation,which requires more educators to pay attention to it,and calls for updating and more theoretical research results to guide practice.The author will continue to word hard in the future.
