Mathematical application problem is a breakthrough for junior high school students tounderstand the application of mathematics and participate in the practice of mathematics.Itis an effective way for junior high school students to comprehend the methods and ideas ofmathematical modeling.It is also an effective carrier for cultivating students' mathematicalthinking and awareness and improving students' problem solving.With the development ofsociety and the exploration of human beings,we can see that the stage of mathematics islarger.Every reform of mathematics pays more attention to the close connection betweenmathematical knowledge and life reality.So,it is important that how to guide students tosolve life problems with the theoretical knowledge of mathematics they have learned,andhow to improve their application ability.For junior high school mathematics teaching,theteaching of applied problems is the focus and difficulty of classroom teaching.It can be saidthat mathematical applied problems originate from life and have a direct and indirectimpact on human life.However,the idea of mathematical modeling model can abstractmathematical models for specific practical problems or specific objects.It is undoubtedly aneffective way to deal with junior high school mathematics application problems by using theidea of mathematical modeling to build models to analyze and learn application problems.The idea of model has the characteristics of clear thinking,strict logical reasoning,conciseand standardized,and making difficult easy.It is also the main way and basic way to realizethe teaching of Applied Mathematics problems.This study is based on the actual classroom learning and theory,using literatureanalysis,theoretical thinking on the infiltration of model ideas in practical problems,summarize the students' demands and puzzles in mathematics learning by the ways ofquestionnaire survey,test and examination,and exchange of ideas,,as well as the methodsof most teachers in junior high school mathematics application problems teaching and thecurrent situation of infiltration of mathematical models.This paper analyses the currentsituation of solving junior high school mathematics application problems and the causes ofthe problems.According to the position and content structure of junior high school mathematics application problems,it discusses the necessity of teaching model ideas injunior high school mathematics application problems.Firstly,in theory,we use the relevant literature,periodical papers and rich papers tounderstand the characteristics and advantages of model thinking in junior applicationproblems,as well as the role and significance of model thinking in application problems,from the requirements of mathematics curriculum standards in compulsory education stageto teaching,Piaget and Vygotsky's constructivism theory and Polia's practice ofproblem-solving thought,etc.Starting from the relevant theory,this paper puts forward theteaching strategy that infiltration modeling idea is beneficial to the standardization ofstudents' problem solving steps,the combing of problem solving ideas,the improvement ofproblem solving speed and the enhancement of mathematical model application ability.Secondly,in the aspect of practical research,we mainly focus on our own classroomobservation and teaching practice,combined with the investigation and teaching status ofinfiltrating mathematical model ideas into junior high school mathematics applicationquestions.According to the teaching requirements,this paper analyses the status,teachingcontents,emotional attitudes and values of junior high school mathematics applicationproblems,puts forward the teaching strategies of infiltrating model ideas into junior highschool mathematics application problems teaching,and designs the process of infiltratingmodel ideas into application problems teaching,and explores the strategies proposed forstudents' interest in learning mathematics,students' speed of solving problems andstudents' mathematics.Is the result effective? Through the analysis and research of theteaching experiments in the experimental class and the control class,it is shown that theapplication problem teaching with the infiltration of model idea has been improved tovarying degrees in students' academic performance,students' interest in learning,students' standardization of problem solving process,students' logical thinking ability andstudents' practical application ability.
