Research On The Changes Of Employment System Of College Students In China From The Perspective Of New Institutional Economics

Employment is the foundation of people’s livelihood and the source of wealth.It is the basic way for people to maintain their livelihood and improve their material and spiritual life.As a country with a large population,China is the country with the richest labor resources and one of the countries with the greatest employment pressure.With the implementation of the college enrollment expansion policy in 1999,as well as the changes and transformation of the social industrial structure and the labor market,the employment of college students is increasingly facing a grim situation,and the problems in the employment process are gradually highlighted.The employment of college students has begun to become a major focus of social attention.The employment system of college students is an important part of China’s employment system and an important part of the implementation of employment system reform.Since the founding of the People’s Republic of China,the employment system of college students in China has experienced a development course of nearly 70 years from the initial formation to the stability and maturity.During this period,with the development and changes of China’s economy and society,the employment system for college students in China has also been constantly adjusted and its functions have been gradually improved.To study the changes of the employment system of college students in our country,to explore its logic rules in various stages of changes,and to provide background experience and guidance for the reform of the employment system of college students,is the proper meaning of solving the structural employment problems of college students in our country.Since the birth of new institutional economics,its explanatory power on economic,political and other social phenomena has been widely recognized,and some scholars such as coase and north have won the Nobel Prize for it.The research of new institutional economics on institutions has entered a mature stage,especially on the phenomenon of institutional change in developing countries,and its research methods are very suitable for exploring the process of institutional changeof college students’ employment in China.At present,there is still a lack of research achievements in exploring the employment system of college students based on the theory of new institutional economics.In view of this,this paper attempts to analyze the process and mechanism of the change of the employment system of college students in China from the perspective of the new institutional economics theory,so as to explore the problems and future trends in the process of the change of the employment system of college students in China.Through the analysis of the employment system of college students,this paper divides the institutional change into three stages.The second stage is the "supply and demand meet,two-way choice" system in the dual-track system.The third stage is the period of "self-employment" employment system under the market economy system,which tends to be stable and sustainable development.In the process of sorting out the system,this paper focuses on the analysis of the background of the system and the stage characteristics,effectiveness and shortcomings of the system,so as to have an overall grasp of the employment system in each stage.Secondly,this paper makes a detailed study on the subject,motivation,mode and path dependence of the institutional change of college students’ employment in China by applying the stakeholder theory,transaction cost theory,property right theory,institutional change theory and other relevant theories of new institutional economics.At this point,this paper summarizes the problems existing in the change of the employment system of college students in China,and makes a preliminary prediction of the change trend of the system in the future.
