Self-education is one of the important methods of Ideological and political education.Tao Xingzhi put forward that "teaching is not to teach" in traditional culture.By the new era,college students' self-consciousness has become more and more awakening,which puts forward new requirements for the development of Ideological and political education,all of which highlight that self-education plays a key role in the development of Ideological and political education.This paper uses the structure of "social investigation-raising questions-analyzing problems-solving problems" to expound the current situation,existing problems and Countermeasures of college students' self-education.To study the self-education of College Students under the background of the new era,the whole research process runs through "the self-education of college students is a kind of Ideological and political education activity".Through analysis,this paper puts forward strategies to improve the effectiveness of self-education of college students in the new era.The article consists of four parts:The first part is the theoretical starting point of this paper,which mainly studies the theoretical support and knowledge reference of College Students' self-education in the new era.Starting from self-education and from shallow to deep,this paper expounds that self-education and others' education originate from the dialectical relationship between internal and external causes of Marxism,and that the development of self-education is due to human needs.On this basis,drawing on Sukhomlinski's self-education thought and the spirit of self-education in Chinese traditional culture,as well as the self-consciousness theory,cognitive development theory and constructivism theory in psychology,the aim is to emphasize that in the new era,through reinterpretation of Marxist theory and psychological theory,educatees should be assisted in collaborative learning through a series of means.We should develop the educated in a better and more advantageous direction.The second part mainly studies the ideological characteristics and importance of College Students' self-education in the new era,which is the need to improve the quality of Ideological and political work,the need to develop all-round,the need to alleviate and improve the drawbacks of traditional methods,and the need to promote the concept of students' fundamental purpose to fall into detail.It also re-analyses the University of the new era.According to the ideological characteristics of students' self-education,it is concluded that college students' self-education is characterized by strong autonomy,pluralistic thinking,high network dependence and sensitive psychology.The third part mainly analyses the current situation of College Students' self-education in the new era and the factors restricting self-education through questionnaires.This part is the difficulty and emphasis of the full text.In order to achieve a breakthrough in the conclusion,the paper uses the statistical data of the questionnaire survey to qualitatively and quantitatively analyze the characteristics of self-education of college students in the new era,such as the increasing demand for individual self-development of students,the scientificalization of self-education carriers and so on.It further explores the current situation,characteristics and the causes of these problems.There are cognitive biases in the subject and object of education,rich content but poor use,self-education environment is not conducive to the development of self-education,and related policies supporting self-education of college students in the new era are not sound.All of these provide a theoretical and practical basis for putting forward the Countermeasures of College Students' self-education in the new era.The fourth part is the foothold of the full text,aiming at the problems analyzed in the third part,it puts forward the Countermeasures of self-education for college students in the new era.Based on the analysis of the current situation and existing problems of College Students' self-education activities,this paper puts forward measures to strengthen the effectiveness,space and conditions of College Students' self-education in the new era from three aspects.They are: strengthening the overall consciousness of college students' self-education,expanding the space of college students' self-education,and improving the condition guarantee of college students' self-education.Aiming at the deep reasons,this paper puts forward some countermeasures to realize the good development of college students' self-education.
